I think Patrick Vieira said he hated playing at Filbert Street. Probably coz he had Walsh, Elliott and Taggart after him -

Well, there were plenty of games at Filbert St where you could hear a pin drop, and then bounce. There were plenty of games when the ground would be so quiet, you could hear the players shouting at each other on the pitch. But yes, when it went up, it was hair raising. I think it was becuase the roof on the Kop was much closer to the crowd than it is at the KP that the noise was intensified. Saw countless games stood in crazy corner and the most electric was the fabled 3-3 against Arsenal, along with the Villa and Sunderland semis when we got to Wembley again. -

There aren't any. We all saw that every time Ward played. -
That's some great work there. Well done to all involved.

No loan, buy him or bugger off. What if he gets injured again and misses half the season.

It was at that phonics gig in Cardiff last Saturday. It was excellent. And Cardiff town centre was insane afterwards. It was like a night out in Magaluf!
-
I may have dreamt this but I'm sure I read years ago that the KP can't host concerts. Something to do with the concrete in the stands. It's not strong enough or summat. As I say, this might not be correct.
-
That's irrelevant, you can still support the club and not go to many or any games. A lot of people can't afford it now, it's not the 1980's anymore. People have been priced out. Does that mean they aren't allowed an opinion?

Have a watch of the video in the first post of this thread Marti Cifuentes - Style of Play, Tactics and Analysis

I watched the BTG tactics video and then saw the players trying to implement it yesterday. The thing that stuck out for me was the three at the back spread out with the defender in the middle sending the ball out, exactly as it was in the examples we were shown on the stream. Early days but you can see what Mart is trying to get the players to do already. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Marti can do with better players then he had at QPR.

That there are people still defending him defies logic. He needs a run in the side. He needs to get his confidence back. He'll score loads in the Championship. And then you watch him and the reality is that he shouldn't be anywhere near putting our shirt on. He's just appalling.
-
That really surprised me. Thought he'd be a bit more tentative on his first game back. But no, on he comes and BOOM.

Hopefully, Daka has just played his way out of the side.

Unreal moment from an average player?

Wasn't that Burton? -
Andy Impey. He actually was an imp.

Worst performance you've seen live from a Leicester player
Groby_Blue replied to Jacob7839's topic in Leicester City Forum
This immediately came to my mind. We've had some piss poor players over the years but this one stands out. I was behind the goal in the Kop and the crowd were screaming at him STAY ON YOUR LINE but no, out he came and the third went in. Colin Hill's face said it all. There was a lot of excitement at him finally playing because it took ages to get his work permit sorted IIRC and everyone was buzzing to see him. Lasted about half an hour. -

Demarai's screamer at Old Trafford -
It would be like that girl who you adored when you were younger but then you both moved on and things didn't work out so you go back hoping to rekindle what you once had, but it's never the same and you both end up disappointed. He had the perfect send off, 200 goals dead on 500 games on the anniversary of when he first signed for us. That was perfect. Let's leave it at that.
