  1. To learn from the tactical and motivational Leviathan that is Ruud. You'd need yout head looking at to turn down an opportunity like that.
  2. Thank the Lord. I was about to go snooker loopy.
  3. I get the negativity about Dyche but I think he's just what we need for the next two or three seasons. We need somone who will grab the club by the bollocks and shake it around. Someone who won't pander to Top/Rudkin and who will sort the squad out. He won't accept the performances we've been watching from far too many players and he'll either shape them up or ship them out. As someone has already said, he's got experience of getting out of the Championship and staying in the PL. He got Burnley into europe! It wouldn't be pretty but it would be effective and we cannot risk any more 'pretty' ineffective football that bores everyone to tears and is quickly ripped apart as soon as a half decent manager sees how to counter it. People rightly love Nige for his no-nonsense, player focused approach. Players would run through brick walls for Nige and we had a massive connect between the fans and the players. Look at it now. I think Dyche would get us up and keep us up, which is what we're all desperate for. A couple of seasons establishing ourselves in the PL and then we can look to move on again. And he's a character, not an off the shelf, media trained, colour by numbers bore of a manager that we're all sick of.
  4. Pretty sure this is a ciminal act tbf
  5. They loved Fawaz as well, despite the fact that he was literally destroying the club before their own eyes. No matter what happens and who owns them, they will always be the biggest club in the world in their tiny, tiny minds.
  6. In an interview after a match, he was asked about the state of the Stamford Bridge pitch. In very broken English he said, the pitch is very good - for potatoes! Such a legend.
  7. This has to be done for the chants alone - BRIANBARRYMURPHYSBLAAAAAAAAAAAAAARMY!
  8. Seems tailor made for Brussel and Rangers
  9. Enzo is 40/1 to return
  10. Knowing Top and Rudders, it's the other way around.
  11. Saw this on the toilet wall in an Irish pub in Prague yesterday. Random???
  12. Rudkin - Boss, the peasants are revolting. They want us both out and they are protesting about King Power. What do we do now? Top - Announce Ward has left the club. Rudkin - Brilliant! I knew you would know what to do. Top - No problem. Now go and clean out the stables. Rudkin - Yes boss. Thank you boss.
  13. I remember parking at Neasden and drinking in the pub with the friendly locals. Then walked to Neasden tube station to get the tube to Wembley and all hell had broken loose. The same lads who were in the pub were smashing the place up. Riot vans arrived so we quickly scarpered and had to walk to Wembley stadium. Just took our seats as the players emerged from the tunnel. Everyone remembers that goal but I'll also always remember that amazing pass from Walsh that set Muzzy away and won the penalty for the equaliser. What a day.
  14. Me too but for different reasons. While at college, my daughter had the opportunity to visit Ghana and help with an orphanage or something. It was self funding so she did all the sponsored things, raised a decent amount of money but still fell short. I contacted the club and asked if Jeff would be interested in helping out. The player liaison guy, John someone, emailed and asked how much she needed. It wasn't an insignificant amount but I won't go into details. I said we would appreciate any amount to help out. I then got an email saying Jeff was happy to pay the remainder and asking for my bank details. So Jeff will always be a legend to me, not just for that FA Cup winner at White Hart Lane.
  15. £££££££££££££
  16. And it still blows my mind that these two players were instrumental in our last relegation, then both refused to play in the Championship but were happy to come back and play in the bright lights of the Premier League and went on to put in WORSE performances than the last time they played for us. And they both got to play in the majority of games. Two players that sum up the state of the club and why we are in this mess.
  17. You don't. Lots of people do. Get over it flower.
  18. In a season which has been a cross between a car crash and an abortion all the way through, you have to cling onto and hope for the little things. And those red ba@#£@rds missing out on the champions league is a thing of beauty. And I will always remember that 2 2 draw that ended it all. We're in Prague and I've just spent the last two hours in a bar looking at my phone and cheering Chelsea on. Happy days 🥳🥳🥳🥳
  19. I know an Ipswich fan and he says exactly the same. Expected after such a piss poor season in the PL though.
  20. How utterly depressing, and completely true.
  21. Well, in a total cluster**** of a season, the club did the right thing by showing the presentation and Vardy's goodbye online. Had more than a lump in my throat watching that. I don't think we'll ever see the like of Jamie again and this simply won't be the same club without him. Thank you isn't enough.
  22. Was he reading that off a script???
