For any one over 55, it's worth trying to find your pensions from previous employers............i had £20000 in a pot i'd forgot about! It was only when i got to 55 that they contacted me to know if i still lived at the same address(which i don't,but had the mail redirected)......probably not the right thread,but pushed me into retiring early!

I'm 56 and when my mum and dad passed away we got enough money to pay our mortgage off.We allways said we'd move upto Northumberland when we retired and their was nothing to keep us in Leicester anymore.Luckily i had a few pensions which i cashed in and recieve the the remainder of one every month.Mrs works from home for the NHS which keeps us ticking over(she loves her job and i hated mine!)We are not well off by any means but have a lot more time with the kids to do things.

Removal company's are a right rip off! We didn't get a quote under £1500 for us moving from Leicester to the North East.In the end we went and rented a van and did it our selves.A bit of manual labour,but if you have friends it helps!Cost us about £400 in the end.

Because he would have "quit" two jobs in succesion.....doesn't look good.

Couldn't agree more.....but i'm not going to hold my breath about the PL doing anything any time soon........if you can sell Liverpool v Arsenal/Man city/Utd to broadcasters abroad,then i think they are getting the money in and the likes of Brentford,Fullham and others at the middle,bottom end of the PL should be greatfull to be their!

We made the PL and the big clubs shit the bed in 2016,now they have made sure it couldn't happen again........Football at the top tier is done.

Getting more into non league......started going to my local club half way through last season and enjoy it.Want to go to a few aways next season.....we will have Blyth Spartans and Blyth town in the same division,so a few local derbys.

No cap on away prices in the champ i dont think.
