Drinking in Germany is so good. Your comment has prompted me to aim for a Bundesliga game next season around Jan/feb time

The Best Team in the World
grobyfox1990 replied to Long Eaton Fox's topic in General Football and Sport
In Europe it would be the clubs. Rest of the world it would be the countries, because the best players play in Europe. Best team in the world full stop is PSG for me. -
Yeh a lot of the modelling done is poor. Coz it didn’t go far enough!!!!! We reached 40 degrees in the uk in 2022 lol. You can do your own climate scenario modelling for free on some websites. It’s….interesting….

‘Falsemess’ is harsh. I’ve no reason to believe these people at the pinnacle of their careers do not truly believe their god has guided them there. I respect that about truly religious people, they think everything is guided by god, good or bad. Remember being in Dubai about 10 years ago and our related investor group got hair cut to zero on a transaction. Their genuine reaction was ‘inshallah’ (god willing) and didn’t sweat it after that. Great way to live imo

Ah yes I defo remember that

Didn’t Chris wood score a hat trick there in early 2013?? Or was that Ashton gate. That period is a mush

Yep good analysis. Went to the tower, steps to the top of the cathedral, various churches, the opera, a lake, botanical gardens, some decent breweries and bars. All in a perfect advert for a cheap and inoffensive Ryanair trip

What is all this 1976 lark. I’ve never heard a single happy clapper talk about 1976
-
Durres. Once the happy clappers get wind of Albania they’ll turn it into another Tenerife/palma/hakidiki/albafueria/wherever it is happy clappers go to overpriced English speaking hotels. Would strongly suggest going now

True better to download an app that runs off AI in the background, that'll show em!!!
-
On the left too for sure, but defo loads of happy clapper wokeys getting offended at innocuous things like council guidance on what to call an Easter egg on the right. Yep would bet my mortgage Wimpinson and Farage believe anyone protesting on the streets in Soton etc is a peasant. The peasants do the work, the masters control them. Only peasants, halfwits and dullards would commit illegal acts on the streets to serve their masters purposes and gain nothing materially from it.

The American happy clappers are far less clappy and happy than our lot. The MAGA base has wildly split. They have designated Piers Morgan as a wokey, Trump hated republican Thomas Massie, Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro hate most of MAGA, Tucker Carlson is going all in on Trump. It's much more fun than UK happy clappers who follow orders as soon as Farage and Tommy Wimpinson click their fingers and force the peasants onto the streets. Maybe this new comedy show from Rupert Lowe will split them up.

I’m excited for what the happy clappers will nickname Andy burnham. ‘Two tier Keir’ was hilarious

Going to kosice in Slovakia for two days this week. No idea what’s there but it was like £40 each return. Still scarred from being stuck in a war zone in March so will stick to some dull inoffensive European trips over summer.

That sounds really cool! Shame about Houston. I’ve liked it when I’ve gone. Loads going on due to the oil industry wealth. But that proper American divide with loads of crime downtown and areas with living standards akin to the 3rd world. I thought the same about Dallas. Presume no time for San Antonio?

You should order from here - Collections – Beal's Farm Charcuterie If you like pig based meat. Melt in mouth, so tasty.

I'm cold just thinking about this. But the area is varied, cheap and fun, I like it up there too. When I see people on holiday in Jersey I just feel sorry for them. Really cold and vastly overpriced.

None of it was justified as climate policy. It was insurance. An electron can be sourced from coal, gas, sun, wind, or uranium; a combustion engine is married to a single fuel that must cross someone else’s chokepoint. Electrification is the purchase of optionality, and China bought more of it than any nation in history. The happy clappers (unlike China) fail to understand that ‘green’ policies are about building resilience and varied profitable revenue streams. These people actual listen to cretins like Farage and probably believe what they read on twitter

Try living on an island on the sea. It's absolutely freezing

Yep, remember my mind being blown when a client said he never bought a tube ticket as the expected value of fines was lower than the price of paying for a daily ticket. No way I'd be so ballsy to do that, usually in life it's easier to just follow the rules, but fines legitimise the crime.
-
An 18 yr old got elected in Jersey in the elections on Sunday. Despite all the happy clappers saying 'but he's got no life experience!!' I think it's absolutely class. The lad will be on min £60k p.a and be making decisions in economy with nearly half a trillion £ AUM LOL.

That was one of the most contrived stories of that weird documentary. It hurt me to watch all the non-Leicester bits. At least the Furys are good actors and make their Netflix scripted events seem real. 'Right then boys we're off on an impromptu John O Groats trip!!!!!!' 'Tyson has taken off spontaneously AGAIN leaving me with the kids!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!' etc etc etc. Listening to RebeKAH describe that plane journey was loathsome, abhorrent, hurtful, you pick the synonym.
