Yes, horrendous plastic Westernised overpriced island. Just the same as everywhere else. I'm sure, like Dubai, it was fun once before western families started booking package holidays there. Would advise going to Albania instead, before anxiety-ridden westerners imminently ruin that coastline too.

Officials were terrible last season, really weak. ‘The Championship is more honest with tackles flying in and features football played by real men’ is an answer taken from chatGPT by an American who is working in the uk office all week and is prepping to come out for beers with everyone on Thursday night under instruction to be social -
Yeh good point, have you seen stop losses triggered to a large extent? I can only comment on mine where there's been an immaterial equity percentage sell down. Bonds were and still are crazy
-
Do appreciate that but this one was so obvious!! All the needless panicking and posturing about paper pension losses were always hysterical. Reading back at some of the comments on here from Friday, almost feel sorry for those poor schmucks. You were given an insider trading tip on the eve of a new ISA year. Literally handed a money tree.

This is when I will get involved in non-league, when it becomes mainstream. Football is about hating your team 80% of the time and then really loving it when it goes well. With all the moaners going to non-league, it is only a matter of time before they start berating their new teams and players. Watching the Kettering guy on the non league thread profess extreme love for the team before slowly hating them as they got sh1t confirms it is inevitable that this will happen. Cannot get onboard with all the soppy happy clappers droning on about 'drinking a pint in view of the pitch WOW' and ' the real side of football, it's soooo refreshing' 'no sideways passes OMG' -
That sounds superb, post reviews afterwards pls. Would be fun to do the Helsinki - Tallinn - Riga - Vilnius - Minsk line one day. @DerbyshireFox what you got coming up?

I am going to Brighton this weekend. Next weekend I will be in Leicester as it is Easter holidays

Oh wow...omg...woah...whaddya know, the markets rebounded, what a shock..... Good news for all those sh1tting their knickers about their pensions but the consequence of your freakouts will be orangeman laying claim to THE GREATEST MARKET BOUNCE WE HAVE EVER SEEN EVER THE GREATEST.

Yes and yes. I’ve essentially grown up at the walkers with every part of life progressively changing around it. I’ll eventually give it up on my own terms. I have an old phone which can be used solely to store nfc tickets on so that’s not a problem -
As I said a few posts ago, black edge runs the markets. There’s absolutely no doubt many would’ve front run this. I reckon these days to be a vaguely competent PM you need a link into the White House.

Yep. Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, Tashkent. Prob the best trip I’ve done, not a tourist or any hint of organisation in sight and so much history and relevance. People very friendly, each place different, experiment with food as it’s all good. Ps in my 10 day trip our luggage only turned up on day 7 and apparently this is very common, so pack hand luggage wisely. Don’t be a stressy Brit, you’ll enjoy it much more

Yeh I love this forum for the hyperbole, but I think that was an actual serious post.

Equating Hamilton to Vettel LOL. April fool's was 8 days ago pal

Who do they blame for the fall? Who knows, anyone I imagine. Like many people of their generation, they are investment geniuses when the markets and property values are serenely going up and obviously fully deserve their unjustifiably comfortable lifestyles, but it is some bogeyman's fault when values go down.

Middle aged people in the office still moaning and whining about how much their pensions have gone down. I have politely noted to them the following helpful tips: - Continue to work hard - Stop buying avocado on toast on weekends - Live within their means - Get rid of Netflix - Bring a packed lunch - Find a pair of bootstraps and pull them up I am sure if these pointers are followed these people will have a prosperous retirement.

He's still around because he's still got plenty of cash to make, even at his age he is still clearly a very marketable asset. He's looked after his physical health superbly, the benefit of that is you get longer at the table when there's money on it.
-
Unfortunate. But reading the comments on this thread prove the severe lack of self-confidence and inbuilt weakness of some our fans. They haven't got it in them to produce a banner. 'I really don't care about the club BUT continue to relentlessly post and think about them, please believe me!!'
-
If you draw jersey bulls in the fa vase you will have to come
-
The best part of watching this is albrighton on commentary. Clearly still in tune with the club and giving good insight into the club during his time

Unless you have black edge you are not going to 'understand' the market. So get some black edge or accept we are wedded to a capitalist system, so you will more than likely always end up with a risk premium over the long term if you do invest. Which over a 10-year ish period every decent global ETF will have left you with a very healthy risk premium.
-
2 years is nothing. If you're going down that route the best investment by far is overpaying your mtg.

Back to back games for Jersey bulls v Redhill this weekend and next. Both teams locked on 89 points in 1st and 2nd spot, so these two games will decide the title. Over 100 fans flying from Jersey to the away fixture in Redhill today
-
Ok understood now...So if you're phasing you don't need to sh1t yourself because the markets will swing back. And if you're taking a lump sum, by now the majority of your pot should be bonds-focused, in which case you've done well out of this. As usual quite a lot of hyperbole and OTT before reality appears.
-
That's what I thought. I thought the pension provider automatically eased you further into bonds and certainly away from equities the nearer you got to retirement. I thought you actively had to choose to stay full blast in equities if you were nearing retirement. In which case you know exactly what you're getting into and cannot start moaning when equities do what equities do. Is that not the case then? I cannot imagine a world where you're 66.5 and still heavily exposed to the whims of equities in your pot, but maybe I am too risk averse!!

A few bad days yes but as arteta wisely says ‘trust the process.’ There’s been some insane and totally unjustified gains recently, a bad day and a correction was always due, the recovery will take place. Keep putting money in that pension young man
