If we get to Wembley v Tranmere all the happy clapping ‘games gone mate’ types will be queuing up to go
-
Anyone know good pubs in the area? Not football specific
-
No, will have to be pick up from the ground for me as I am away until matchday
-
I have previously used Integrar - Contact us - Integrar - for smaller resi issues before and they appear reasonably priced but man I really hate/distrust high st solicitors. Often it's more effort overall because you have to chase them and provide all your records anyway. Would understand if you can't be arsed to do it yourself but defo worth considering if you keep getting silly quotes
-
Lol yeh that’s mental for the work involved. You don’t need a local solicitor for work like this, if you deal with a broker or mtg provider often you could ask them to suggest a solicitor from their panel
-
Had exactly the same on Friday. The 4.7% ale. I thought it was nice
-
5 cans of Chang
-
Bunk (chicken restaurant) in town is decent value for food, all cocktails £6.50. Nice venue. Went after the match today
-
People said all this crap before Qatar and they’ll say the same before 2030 and 2034. They won’t practice what they preach, ofc there’ll be huge ratings
-
Agreed. Scunthorpe is a cracking day out.
-
Excellent, thanks! I will call them
-
Anyone use any of the buses (apart from Ausden clark who have said I can't) and know if I can contact someone to leave my bag on the bus during the match?
-
Maybe I’m too corporate/cynical but we only ever got treated kinda like fans because we were sh1t. The second we got good ofc they were gonna monetise us, much like many successful clubs have historically done. Anyway the next general sale starts today at 4pm, I will see what crops up. Still awaiting the right time in the market to flog my USA v Paraguay tickets
-
You seriously cannot blame this on 'modern football' lol. It's life. Everyone is impatient. People's attention spans are near zero
-
Yes as said on another thread I want the second chance of condescendingly saying 'I was there in league 1 you know.' as a rebuttal to those claiming I shouldn't be complaining. The comments saying 'just do something else with your mates then' are shockingly out of touch and unrealistic. I, along with many others I know, would not come back to Leicester and socialise as much without the anchor point of a football match, and I am not about to get into rugby.
-
I go to the Jersey bulls (step 4) about 3 times a season. Going on Saturday actually. It's very boring, all the players are in poor shape and the game is always slow. The social is however very fun, got a really good crowd going each time. I suppose that's exactly the reason I still go to watch Leicester!! Really crappy boring football but nice to see family and friends.

TR1 or straightforward to do on your own if you fancied it. The guidance docs on gov website are useful.

Great thread. I vote foot

Power to the people!!! Well done all who took a stand (pun intended)

Yeh, but like decisions our club makes, the excuse of sticking to standard practice doesn't wash. Sheff wed can accept some cash for the a percentage of the tickets being sold, or leave the entire block empty and collect no cash. If our club were being as incompetent as Sheff Wed in this case, they would rightly get stick
-
Obviously they don't think they can sell them all and don't want to pay for it. But it's gonna be left empty otherwise, why wouldn't Sheff Wed just say 'sell what you can' - they're down anyway, they don't need to restrict ticket sales to away fans. Both clubs are incompetent and it shows via many metrics (league position being one)
-
I do not read it as 'with fault' evictions at all. Removal of s21 'no fault' does not automatically equate to with fault. There are many valid grounds why you would ask a tenant to vacate under the RRA.
-
Yeh that's why I said long-term and put a 60-year timescale on it. You'll always have dips in the graph like now, need a wing and a prayer to get through it
