Yes and African music themed nights. Food is good but pricey
-
£20 at Wealdstone, £20 at St Albans, £24 at borehamwood
-
Was in the hind the day before Fulham away, bank holiday weekend. No sign of refurb or take over. The current people running it asked us to hand out flyers for upcoming themed nights they had planned in exchange for free pool. So I assume they have long term plans

Also mad that the whole league conspired to give us the title in 2016. Why has this never been looked at? I think Arsenal or spurs should be given the trophy to share

Chesterfield is a decent day out, nice pubs, good ground, bit of character in the town. The game itself was very good too, both teams good on the ball and played at a good pace. Both were much better than most teams I watched in the champo last year

Tickets to German league games
grobyfox1990 replied to Denzel the fox's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Went to Bremen v Dortmund pre covid, got general sale tickets from the Bremen website. Only way of doing Dortmund legit is via hospitality apparently. Went there for a game in the euros and that’s what our hotel said. Well worth it tho, incredible stadium. -
Don’t know what you’re expecting back here given no-one appears to be happy with Valencia’s ‘dynamic pricing’ on this thread

Next time I’m in London let’s get a client code set up with Miquel

I am looking at the singer tavern from the window now!! Used to be a favourite when I lived and worked here permanently . Going to investigate BEER and BURGER in Kings cross now for no other reason than I've always thought it looked shiny and nice.
-
Ah what a shame, I used to love three johns, two floors, fountain and Ink and whatever else was in that chain.

Another great boozer! From there you are in knee high leather boot throwing distance of the prince. Drapers - Albion - Tamil prince.
-
Great boozer, I thought it had shut down though. New owners? Surely now its autumn the brunettes are wearing knee high leather boots. Tamil Prince down the road is a very good spot for food. Actual Indian not oily and mild Bangladeshi filler food.

Early bird prices and increases for POTD have been common in the lower leagues for years, probably decades, now. Can remember as a teenager when we were going to random matches spending £5-10 more for POTD prices. I am sure city used to do early bird prices for STs.

Again, these people run a huge global business. Players get injured, have contingency plans in place. I bet you'd be the first to dismiss any other premier league club crying because a player got injured lol. Players leave clubs on the last day of the transfer window, have contingency plans. When goalkeepers want to move on and make more money they leave, guess what...have contingency plans. This all smacks of an adult baby at my work, bloke is in his 30s. Always got some excuse! I got covid, sprained an ankle, traffic, road closures, the dog is ill, missed my train, don't have enough money to buy a new phone, laptop broke, fridge stopped working, package delivery is late..... Any excuse to avoid saying he is simply INCOMPETENT and cannot organise sufficiently himself like an adult.

Chesterfield on Saturday, £20 cheapest ticket... In Buenos Aires in November. Argentina are playing at home (should be at River Plate's ground but TBC) and there's a Boca Juniors home game whilst I am there. Looking forward to that. Will investigate some other BA clubs, but think I'll be pushing my luck to go to more than two games.

I do not think it's that sinister. Everyone seems to get hyped up about some perceived big 6 plot, but don't they have more resources to counter sloppily drafted rules? As has been shown by us this week, if you have resources and a legal team worth a few grand an hour, you can exploit weaknesses in corporate drafting. Chelsea got the hotel deal through, they will close that loophole soon enough. I am sure they are actively working to close our loophole down. Big clubs are clever, Villa and Newcastle are at threat of breaching the rules. So they devised that big money laundering ring at the start of summer and swapped a load of players around with Chelsea also involved.
-
True, agree with that. This victim mentality and mindset of 'it's not my fault, it cannot possibly be my fault' needs to foxtrot Oscar ASAP. It was our fault, it is our fault and we need to fix it. Terrible way to live life, just letting events happen to you, crying about it, then blaming circumstances because you had no contingency plan in place to deal with them. Even worse way to run a huge global business!!!!

Yeh true, defo not meaningless, wrong word. I meant boring, Brest v Sparta Prague and the like.
-
£135 I paid for the 3 game package. £50 for Sevilla and £65 for Atletico. in 2016/17.... Mad pricing but they know you're not going to miss out
-
Yeh it is 100% a loophole, the spirit of the law is clear and we have absolutely broken it. It can only be Gordon Gekko types and/or tory voters that can be delirious with how we got away with this. I'm obviously happy with it, but will stop short of celebrating it given my wider beliefs on fair systems and equality

Appreciate you said it’s taking the p1ss, but hopefully this episode puts paid to the fantasists and delusional posters re our situation. We were responsible for getting relegated, Man City do not owe us half a billion because Rodgers didn’t get us into the champions league and the future of the club was compromised by our own staff, not the ‘big 6’

The argument is then where to draw the line I guess. I do not believe Govt should have any role to play in dictating where my 'emotions' should lie in how I spend my leisure time, or what price I should pay for them. You only have to spend a few mins on this forum and read the 'modern football's dead mate games gone non league mate shambles' posters to determine it is very easy to follow a local club instead of LCFC. Which I hope a lot of Valencia fans do in response to this. Power should lie with people not regulators.
