Yeh fair, it is worth a watch, only 25 mins long. I mainly watched it because I thought the Fox host would be the typical embarrassing shouty mess. But he was quite professional! Kamala talked over him a lot which I thought let her down

Sports stars are elite athletes, robots rather than humans, it's an extreme style of living. Every aspect of their day to day life is controlled. If they don't follow this way of life like fatso Kalvin Phillips they are no longer sports stars. Entertainment people are artists and creatives that should not be controlled if they are to reach the top. Nothing to do with settling down or home life, you have to have immense discipline to stay at the top in sport. A 'disciplined' artist who settled down doesn't sound like someone who can sell records.

Yeh fair play to her for doing it, a huge risk that should earn her brownie points. But my god was she so so bad.

Seriously!!! How come? What was day to day life like? People? At election time I am obsessed with small towns in swing states. Would love to do 6 months documenting a few of them

Totally agree. Btw ‘secret life of chaos’ documentary is brilliant re your second para. The worlds systems are work against Cory and the 99% of us other plebs and eventually will f4ck the 1% too. We need a radical rethink of every part of our world.

Been helping a close mate in the uk since Easter with mental health issues. He’s not a danger to himself or others tho. He’s been in the system since then and I must say the service has been superb. Bi-weekly home visits, specialist consultant appts, advice, prescriptions. Called the crisis line twice in the middle of a weekend night and they’ve spoken to him for hours. He’s clearly a minor case with so much family/friend support and he’s had this much attention. Hats off to the nhs in this case, incredible

I think that viewpoint comes from the incredibly luck and luxury in having the ability to think long term and existentially. Cory in Broxton, Georgia has nothing but hope in perception and hence trump. Why the hell should Cory care about me, anyone else it rising sea levels in pacific islands. The systems and mechanisms of our world aren’t set up for that. Everything is short termist in nature

Yeh I agree. He just likes rich people and hates poor people, regardless of race. He’s too dumb to be genuinely racist imo. Anyway ofc black people will like him when he’s promoting working level policies like no tax on tips, over time and tax deductible car finance payments

Yeh, burger man’s campaigning should be a slam dunk. ‘Were you better off under me or her? Me, ok vote for me and don’t reward the failure of the last four years’ He appears to be slightly ahead in the polls after the initial Harris new manager bump, even despite his dismal campaigning, which makes sense. Disingenuous to dictate who to vote for there anyway. I was p1ssed off when channel islanders were aghast at my anyone but Tory voting approach when they didn’t have a clue about the destruction of our country. Not many of us can empathise with the working family man in east lansing, Michigan

Tamil prince is great. What did you think of three johns? I used to love it there but trusted sources Miquel and Cosby fox said it’s bad now.

LOL 😂 thinking of going to Saudi in July, will it be absolute hot anyone know? Munich is great, was there for the euros. Trains were generally a nightmare tho

I have no idea who you are, can rarely see usernames, a year ago tho! Imagine you were quite upset if you remember that. There is no way of you knowing if the cheap Chinese plastic was accurate.

It’s the middle classes that are the funniest. Dude you are an administrator on £175k with a 12% pension, company car and a bonus of ‘up to £20k depending on performance.’ You are nothing special and a total b1tch like the rest of the 99% of the planet entirely dependant on the whims of your employer. If the proposed rises will make a material effect on your life, you’re even more of a b1tch. And if you do consider yourself to be something special, as Ilya Somin said ‘the right of every man is to vote with their feet’

Manchester United Cup 30th October

It'll be a hotspot of selfies and replica scarves/shirts. Not that that's a problem. But I presume you define really good as a loud atmosphere which surely it won't be. -
Who knows it? Not Israel or the GCC states. Or China and the countries in their economic sphere. Not any of Africa, which is becoming a Chinese colony. Once the $ loses its peg status appeal, why would South America even care about the USA.

Yeh true, unobtrusive. He won't make any material difference to climate policy IMO. Paris 2015 is long gone, the SDGs will be nowhere near met. The SEC climate disclosure rulings are going through court, but expect many to voluntarily report anyway. Who will drill baby drill in an uneconomic environment?

Yeh that’s theory, not seeing any of that playing out in reality. Two full scale wars underway. Frequent NK nuclear tests and china flirting with Taiwan. No American influence at all, burger man won’t make a difference to that. Militarily mute. Huge global, inflation driven crisis they could do nothing about. Economically mute. They did not lead the response during or post covid. Trump is a simple bozo, but to think he’s gonna be anymore dangerous to the world than the current situation we’re in seems incredibly hyperbolic
-
Yeh this is probably about right. He will get in, absolve himself of all his criminal liabilities, then eat burgers and blame the woke state for his agenda badly failing. America isn’t an influential world superpower anymore, we’re in the midst of two wars and they’re standing by doing nothing. They no longer have the sway to make it break global accords

Haha that’s it! I think he was actually aiming for one of the dignitaries (bald bloke in yellow tie) who ended up with two cuts on his forehead and a tooth bleeding. But it was surreal as he appeared to be pointing right at me then launched at me through the netting
-
I went today. Couldn’t really see any of the match. After the penalty the player celebrated exactly where we were standing and knocked my full pint over me through the netting. Grabbed his face in the quasi-mosh pit that developed. All quite bizarre

Is your ‘buddy’ sharing? I’m in

Loads of varied cask at the castle in Leicester

Hahah, I’m going away next month and haven’t really done anything apart from book football tickets. I was gonna do it this weekend but your original post shamed me into leaving it for another weekend or so!

A material percentage of western society will always be worried about paying next month's rent and bills, that's how our economy works. The savings ratio has been in a 9% banding from 1955 to the present day, taking out a huge increase during covid and a large downswing in 1958 for some reason. We've gone through multiple economic cycles since then. If you give westerners more money they'll gas it up on pointless sh1t, that hypothesis has been proven loads

Fair play, we got a damn good deal
