Gerrard would be a disaster right now. Wrong time for him to come in. We need someone who can organise a defence and make us hard to beat.

Not play either as a single striker. Never coke across as an out and out striker yet we preserve with a system which brings out inconsistencies in performance and results. I'd rather see Mavdidi play there as a false 9 or Silko Thomas for pace and press. Failing that a system change to play 2 upfront to get more bodies forward which might improve Ayew & Dakas play.
