He didn't have a poor game at all apart from over committing a few times in challenges I thought he played pretty well. He was aggressive in the press and challenged and harassed Derby players too. Better with his passing and positioning although he does still need to improve his consistency against faster wingers. Deffo not the worst player on the pitch that was Ayew or Abdul.

Some strange scoring in the results so far, thought Choudhury, Thomas and Okoli played better than their ratings. Nelson just edged James for MOTM and thought assist aside Abdul was poor again.

I'd love to know the thought process in thinking Bashir was going to be the solution to this Ashes? He has certain "traits" their looking for like a "high release point", tall and generates bounce on a flat wicket. It was a big gamble and not playing for a county has hampered his development and not sure where he goes from here. Odd decision my the management which appears to have backfired.

Did ok I thought. Was inconsistent on similar challenges and seemed to favour Ipswich mostly. Mavididi push was a blatant foul and there was one or two on Ayew which should've been given and Ipswich got away with positions at throw ins too. No real impact on the game thankfully as Ipswich were crap but on another day these would be magnified.

Bore off. We were in total control for 65 mins until the sloppy goal was conceded. Don't agree with Martis sub and shape but we deserved the win and played some nice football today.
