  1. Understand the consternation and it seems valid to me too, but there are reports/claims that Cooper is not opposed to more possession type play. Just hope it is not a u-turn but a more flexible plan of similar.
  2. Suspect it was agreed with Enzo then he left.
  3. Time to setup an East Midlands transfer cartel.
  4. Vestergaard was one of the players of the season last year, yes we were in the championship, but that’s an incredibly poor look to cut them loose, especially as he would have been utilised to similar degree by Enzo, who was still here when his contract was renewed I thought? Plenty of problems at the club, not sure we need to invent extra.
  5. Slightly unfair, but hard to deny it all. Managers, we certainly have a ‘type’, you just have to see Puel, Rodgers and Maresca to see that, leaving Smith aside as he was an emergency appointment, and we don’t even know what remit Cooper has been given yet. Sounds from the interview it will be the aim to do the same longer term, but with a nod towards pragmatism first.
  6. Oh sorry, I missed that. Why did it take so long then?
  7. The fact it took so long and was so subjective, it should have stood imho.
  8. He is now playing it, looks good, but a bit beyond a crusty like me these days.
  9. Wonder if staff have clauses? If a Premier League club come in, I can talk to them, type deal?
  10. I view that as the first shoots of acceptance tbh
  11. Forgot myself and clicked a link to see what people thought, Christ, what a strange desperate world that is.
  12. Twitter. Sorry X. What a cesspit of the most childish and pathetic hateful small minded nonsense going.
  13. KDH teachers pet again then.
  14. Grounded, appreciative and positive.
  15. Opinions not only need to be expressed, they also require the ability to be consumed.
  16. Just the one with many outbursts I would suggest
  17. That lady is not for turning
  18. Like the sound of this
  19. Maybe, just felt we could get a manager and staff (cheaper the better) largely in place before the period changes, then focus on players once they were in place, but maybe I am just not multi-tasking enough!!
  20. Not sure this is going to cut it tbh If he is going to keep changing things, how the hell will we know when to boo??
  21. Yes, even if they are no longer employed by Chelsea, we would probably need to offer large salaries than we would if they did not have their golden shakes still in play.
  22. Disagree. The manager asap, especially as a backroom team needed building/negotiating for. Squad building cost go into the next period of financial reckoning, so they are not related.
  23. Who wouldn't wants a club legend who wants to be coach, loves the club, is a consummate professional, would expect little from us for a coaching perspective except an opportunity, would be an excellent presence around Seagrave and may become a decent coach. This is not a pity signing, its an opportunity to get what could be a potentially good coach at the ground floor of their development. The problem comes when people expect miracles from such an ex-player joining, and anyway he would only be a junior in the coaching team you imagine.

Fancy selling Nelson and Brunt for a combined £3m is significantly underselling Nelson, and would rather keep him - however, a financial mess means tough choices, and as Nelson features as pure profit then he has much value. (Boo to money talk)

So as it stands, we have Vestergaard Faes Coady Souttar Nelson Brunt? Unless one or two go, and they may, no real point in bringing in a CB.
