That’s fine, but you have to bear in mind these guys are young, less so Fats obvs, they can suffer from heads dropping when it does not go perfectly, but yes, these two on full gas 100% of the time is what we all want. We want JJ charging forward, a perfect Winks, Jannik dropping balls onto Fats toes high up the wing, Ricardo bursting into the box, Soumare bursting through the middle in of his to-rare rampages and Daka running onto balls over the top. These are the perfect outcomes in every scenario, but we are not there and if we can get there (and how) will hopefully become clear during the season,

You don`t get to cop out that easily. I made the point that the senior pro's are perhaps not good enough at what we want in terms of on pitch performances, but you are also saying this translates to them being a poor influence as well?

But this is an assumption that he does not get that from our senior pro's. We are so busy panning our senior pro's we don`t stop to think perhaps they are valuable to the playing unit at large, despite our disgruntlement with them being slow, expensive or some other less than desirable attribute. Maybe they are as horrific as some fear, but maybe not! You absolutely would want the seniors to have a word with Monga about his diving (Maybe Ayew shows him how to win free kicks from it )

Fair, don’t see a direction evident of efforts to integrate youth, I shouldn’t expect too, but it would be reassuring. Then again I also don’t want to turn into a Watford (Sorry @Super_horns ) and often circulate managers, as our best work has often been with patience (excludes Ranieri obviously)

Trouble is this distrust of these old players has become so ingrained, they are beyond parody in the eyes of the fans ( I get that) but we know younger players need experience heads on occasion (You would hope one of them would have a quiet word with Monga about his diving for example)
