  3. Our power is choice
  4. Admitting when you are in error builds bridges.
  5. Yeah, let him start on the bench for a couple of games. If he is feeling the pressure to deliver as a starter, give him a break. He is certainly an asset when firing.
  6. You could have just said yes.
  7. Didn’t he release Mav for his one-on-one cock up?
  8. And tbh, it probably says more about Daka than anyone else
  9. See my above edit, I recognised it was bullocks when I pressed submit
  10. Tell Marti? deleted as it was bollocks
  11. Think people refuse to see what he brings and cannot get past the weird belief that he is here to score goals only He does link play, he works hard, and maybe that is his job. Do like the new word @StriderHiryu - Ayew is a prime suffer of this “over hate”
  12. It isn’t pretty at times, but we seem to have garnered some defensive solidity, and it should serve us well through the season.
  13. That’s like comparing Silko to Monga, not every player has such a ridiculously obvious high ceiling. Mav is intermittent or he wouldn’t be here.
  14. Do wonder how they compare, in fans eyes, with other CB pairings in the division. (I obviously cannot be arsed to check myself mind)
  15. How on Earth can you critique that performance and not mention Stephy?
  16. Well we have Carranza now, and our output from the wingers is high and now JJ is here, who knows.
  17. Indeed, but you know our strikers don’t need to score. That’s Abdul’s job.
  18. He is not a striker, think people struggle to see how this is possibly suitable. No idea what he is, but he puts pressures on, floats into space, provides an out ball just not at the top end of the pitch.
  19. Hopefully him and Carranza
  20. If you look for it, you will see it, pretty much the same for most of the team. He was fine, like Ayew, just unremarkable compared to what our ideal for the position(s) are.
  21. What are you expecting from Soumare? He was nice and dull, so fine.
  22. I never said I wrote him off (sod off was a very reactionary thing) as he can be a game changer, and always want players to come good. (Didn't keep my Vestergaard for President subscription going for years for nothing) Was a now frustration, but I sincerely hope he gets back to his best
  23. and? Does he want a cuddle? Christ mate, he is more culpable than anyone today and the others won`t get some gentle treatment. Yes he needs assistance from the Manager and the team to get him back to his best, which was always somewhat inconsistent, as is often the case with wingers. As I say, bench him, sub on and see.
  24. He might, but he was exceptionally poor today. We cannot be having passengers for too long this season. Don`t know what we needs, but if he plays like that I would hope it is something that does not involve him starting. Maybe some time as a sub may help?
  25. Top job Mav now sod off
