Can see that as an aim, and board surely cannot have forgotten the success of such a cull. So until this is complete we just keep trudging through this season, heads up, looking for signs of hope.

The board clearly does not care enough, they could come and call these guys out but they won't. And yes they are really the only ones who can fix this, but relationships have deteriorated with the fans so much I don't believe that have much interest in doing so behind turning up. You can expect them to behave like dedicated professionals (as they should) but when they don't, when they seem unable to motivate themselves to do so, then what?

If he is not happy, good, none of them should be, and if that is how he exhibits, who cares? He ain’t coming to lunch, so if he a bit miserable, let him be miserable, let them all have crisis meetings and kick each other up the ass. If we expect them to be joyous and ‘on it’ then it happens in one of two ways, they either pick themselves up or we pick them up. The former has not worked for the last few years…..so…..
