  1. Or just go look in such markets ourselves!
  2. Sounds like a theological badass
  3. Looks like he has nice hair
  4. Scorched earth leaving nowt but old men and kids.
  5. Might even be loans, but agree we will see something.
  6. Should this season produce no exciting signings in favour of overdue prudence, then there is still excitement to be had from seeing the many youth prospects we could field, agree that it would likely mean at least one more season here (or …) but such a pivot from old farts should be exciting at least.
  7. Alves
  8. If we (or rather the management) have screwed us so badly that we are having to have a fire sale, then I don’t want us to buy anyone, and tough it out with what we have in house and in youth. Would love to believe it’s a deliberate reset, but it feels more desperate than that, something that the loss of Fatawu would surely cement.
  9. Because Rudkin benefits Top beyond Lcfc, obviously.
  10. Our sale would not help KP in their financial woes, we are peanuts compared to their wider business. Getting bored (or losing the club in a bizarre polo bet ) seems most likely.
  11. That’s enough
  12. You would have thought he would at least start to be sub Page or Braybrooke (or is he injured) on?
  13. School time, that’s not how you spell vendetta
  14. #ironymasterclass
  15. Can see that as an aim, and board surely cannot have forgotten the success of such a cull. So until this is complete we just keep trudging through this season, heads up, looking for signs of hope.
  16. The board clearly does not care enough, they could come and call these guys out but they won't. And yes they are really the only ones who can fix this, but relationships have deteriorated with the fans so much I don't believe that have much interest in doing so behind turning up. You can expect them to behave like dedicated professionals (as they should) but when they don't, when they seem unable to motivate themselves to do so, then what?
  17. Hard to disagree, so where do WE as fans go from here?
  18. If he is not happy, good, none of them should be, and if that is how he exhibits, who cares? He ain’t coming to lunch, so if he a bit miserable, let him be miserable, let them all have crisis meetings and kick each other up the ass. If we expect them to be joyous and ‘on it’ then it happens in one of two ways, they either pick themselves up or we pick them up. The former has not worked for the last few years…..so…..
  19. Oh I agree, but where is the spark lit? Does it start on the pitch or in the stands? Maybe it’s either. I hope it’s either, because these players have no fire within them, except for the odd few.
  20. Isn’t it a two way street? Feels a bit chicken and egg. Although I totally get the reactions/mood.
  21. But it’s his decision, not yours or mine, or the fans. His. You think he needs our guidance?
  22. Is that because we cannot unwind ourselves from our preconceptions?
  23. Why can’t we just back him to do the refresh he feels is required? I agree some show of solidarity is a good idea, it just should not come with strings.
