Thomas isn’t out of contract next summer. Luckily these clowns gave him a 4 year contract extension. -
Can it be any worse than Cifuentes? 3 wins out of 13 now in this league is pathetic.
-
Do what Southampton have done. Get rid of the manager and replace him with the U21 coach. 4 wins out of 4 for Eckert.
-
He isn’t at Valencia. Corberan is at Valencia.

Tony Mowbray until the end of the season. -
It’s like still having Ruud or Cooper in charge.
-
His 100th game in charge in England. Surprisingly he’s lost more than he’s won….. Get him gone asap.

Palestinian Chicken is one of my favourite episodes.

They prob will. It’s more the fact that championship clubs look abroad and outside the comfort zone of appointing managers without any experience in this country. While we’ll be predictable and go someone with previous experience in this league.
-
They prob won’t but look at who the clubs have hired and it’s out the box way of thinking. Apart from Clement they don’t have any experience in British football. We won’t do that. It’ll be predictable going for someone with previous experience in the championship.

Middlesbrough appoint Hellberg. Swansea appoint Matos. Norwich appoint Clement. Just Southampton left looking for a permanent manager. What’s the betting they don’t get Martin or Gary O’Neil and we end up with one of them when Marti goes?

Not that he’ll get a look in but is Page available for this one after England were knocked out earlier in the week? -
Best of luck to him. Unpopular opinion but wouldn’t want him back here as a manager. Very rare that ex players go back to their clubs and do well as a manager. Same as Andy King. Wouldn’t want him in charge if/when Cifuentes goes.

You could try going to builders merchants local to yourself and see if they recommend anyone. Some do and some don’t obviously if there’s any issues but it’s worth a try.

Apparently O’Reilly in the Torquay area is highly recommended and cheap……

Realistic Managerial Replacements

With Middlesbrough getting Hellberg, Norwich appointing Clement and Swansea looking at Matos will we follow suit and actually go for someone from abroad without any experience in this country? I very much doubt it but hope we will. I do realize Clement has managed Rangers previously. If QPR can get Stephan surely we should be able to attract someone decent. I just don’t want Martin or Gary O’Neil. -
Say we hire a Paul Mitchell or Dan Ashworth. I know it’s extremely unlikely but what happens after a few weeks of being in the job and they suggest that we should hire a new manager? Foreign managers never previously worked in this country. The suggestions are ones that Top and Rudkin have never heard of. Will they listen? Will they fvck. It all seems imo a pointless exercise which should have happened 5 or 6 years ago. Who realistically would want to come to us now? As previously stated actions speak louder than words.

I agree. Also there’s absolutely no way we sign Skipp, Ayew and Reid had he stayed in charge.

Can’t understand this acceptance of where we are considering we’ve dropped points against distinctly average teams like Portsmouth, Oxford (granted we were down to 10 men), Wrexham, Preston, Millwall and Blackburn. Just mentioning those sides and dropped points pisses me off. Dread to think what we’ll do when we face some decent in form sides. I get that we’re not as good as we were 2 seasons ago in this league but we should still have enough to be picking more points up against those sides.
