Agree completely about him not giving youth a chance. How that back 4 plays every week is shocking. But who realistically will replace him? It’ll be Russell Martin. No one else will want it because we’ll do what we always do and limit ourselves to managers with experience in this country instead of looking abroad.

As much as I’m against him not playing the young players there’s no way these clowns will get rid of him. Would be 2 defeats from 11 and that’s all Top and Rudkin are bothered about.

I’m not so sure on the others. The majority haven’t been consistent enough or are shit. What baffles me is we have a young cb in Nelson who played in the championship last season and reportedly been interest from the premiership but we decide to keep the chuckle brothers at the back.

Imo atm there’s only Fatuwo, Ricardo, James and Monga that would walk into other sides in the championship.

The only defence I can think of taking James off is the amount of travelling and games he’s played in the last couple of weeks. He’s giving me Cooper vibes with his obsession with shit experienced players.

Even more frustrating with Emery going Villa was the fact that his compensation wasn’t a huge amount. I think it was about 6m. Which is nothing in today’s football.

Looking at how well Slot, Glasner, and Iraolo have done since coming to this country makes it even more frustrating when you think these are the names we should have looked at when Rodgers was fvcking everything up. Are there other managers who we should have gone for? Corberan is another we should have got when Maresca went. He’s completely turned around Valencia. Instead we wasted 30m+ on Skipp and Ayew. Thomas Frank is another when he was at Brentford and Rodgers was fvcking it up. Those that think we’d have never got someone like Glasner should consider that he joined Palace who hadn’t won anything and had just won the Europa League. More to do with the fact that we never hire anyone who hasn’t managed in this country which is baffling especially when you consider how well Palace, Brighton, and Bournemouth have done in that approach.
