I want my GK to save shots, and Mcarthy is best in club at that. Playing out from the back is an additional bonus. 2nd half was so much better, he didnt get put in precarious situations and we went long when he wasnt comfortable. I agree the pass to Thomas was extremely high risk but the defenders need to learn also not to put him in tight situations. He was always brought here as the number 1. Far far better than Jacub IMO, he just needs a run in team to get match sharpness back.
