Seeing as Karen Brady said recently that Emma Hayes should be considered for premiership vacancies I look forward to her announcement at west ham should Lopetegui leave……more chance of that clown Cooper getting the job.

Was Cooper telling them to do anything? Didn’t look like it to me. Players are going to listen to Ruud because of what he’s achieved in the game. It’s clear we’re going to create and score goals. He needs to get us more solid defensively. Definitely a promising start.

Rode our luck massively. But I liked his positive subs he made as though he backed them to make an impact. Cooper leaves Vardy on until injury time in that game. Ruud backs Daka and that’s what the majority of the squad need a manager that will back them.

Agree. The one I’m not convinced on and I’ll get shot down for this is Winks. Brilliant last season in the championship but I don’t think he’s as good as lot think he is in this division. Clearly the unsure ones have to step up massively. Worries me that imo we have 3 outfield players that are more than good enough.

With all the cbs we’ve got and we still desperately need at least 2 imo. The ones we currently have are dreadful. Will never understand sending Nelson out on loan. A Huth type signing in January is what’s needed.

I don’t think it helps him being selected for Belgium. Has other quality players in their squad and prob believes he’s at that level. When clearly he’s no where near.

I get conflicted with the squad. There’s a part of me that thinks we’ll be fine and stop up. But the other part of me thinks this is a quality championship side not premiership. How many of our players get into an any other premiership team? Possibly 3. Mads, Bounatte and Mavidi maybe. 1 of those isn’t even a permanent player. A lot of this side were premier league quality a few seasons ago - Vardy, Justin, Ndidi and Ricardo. Age and injuries are catching up on them. Imo who we can get quality in January will be vital. Quality over quantity is definitely needed.
