Not dismissing Pep’s achievements but look at who he’s managed and not like he went into small struggling clubs. Barcelona, Bayern and Man City. It would be more difficult to fail than succeed imo. Give me managers like Ferguson, Klopp and more recently Alonso with where they started and what they build over Pep every time.

I’m struggling. Imo we’re better than Southampton and Ipswich and after that I’m struggling. Some of the other sides we might be equal with them but I couldn’t say we’re better. We still can’t defend and I don’t see that changing with the current defender’s we have.

Bottom half Championship level player who I’m baffled we gave a 4 year contract last season.

Because the majority of games even when we were comfortable was boring to watch. The only game last season where we looked really good imo was Southampton at home when we played anti-Enzo football.

I always knew the first 20 mins in games if he was starting whether he’d be any good for us. As good as he can be he’s also extremely frustrating. When he was with us he never seemed to have the intelligence to do anything it was as if he constantly needed to be told. As you say prob best coming off the bench. Can either be unplayable or just not at it.

While I agree it would be interesting to see. When you look at what Fergie achieved at Aberdeen before Man Utd and Klopp at Mainz. It’s hardly been starting from the bottom to the top with Pep in management Barcelona, Bayern and Man City.

Clearly we have a better chance of stopping up with RVN in charge than Cooper. We’ll also benefit the longer O’Neil and Martin stay at their clubs. Can’t see either of those side’s getting out of it especially if they stay in charge.
