What does it take to drop Faes????

Faes suck.

Any championship team would love to have any one of Nacho (20m signing; most effective goal contributor in PL last year), Daka (30m signing), Vardy (player of the century), Canon (promising youngster from Everton). We have all four of them. I say throw as many of them on the pitch as possible. Better than playing players like Hamza or Faes who are truly average.

Love to see that. But as you say, it is likely too revolutionary for our manager! I mean he barely use the full squad while he complains of tiredness in the squad (but we have perfectly capable players for Championship standard on the bench or even out of the squad). So changing formation will be too much for him.

Definitely need to bin Faes. I think we start with 2 strikers. Go for it from the start.

The pass I hate the most is not the passing between the CBs. It is when we are starting a move forward and the ball is passed to one of Winks, Ndidi, Hamza or KDH while others are making runs, then without even looking up the midfielder in question just pass it straight back to one of the CBs thereby immediately killing the move. It happens so often that it is almost predictable. In order of predictability: Hamza Ndidi KDH / Winks

Imagine we don’t play this way and play a more traditional 4-4-2 in this league.

I don’t know about you, but we were scrapping the bottom of the barrel too last two games.

Not sure why, when our starting eleven are tired and out of ideas under Enzo’s tactics, we don’t have Albrighton in the team (let alone on the pitch) ready to provide options with his early long balls??? Instead of relying on Vesty, Doyle or oh gosh Faes for their long balls from the back, surely Albrighton provides a much better option? Vardy may also get some service afterall? Enzo seems to not like to use squad players. It also baffles me why he doesn’t like to mix things up from time to time.

I think it is down to two: - Tactics - Bad management I don’t think the players lack confidence, but they look hesitant. How could you not when Enzo over trains them to care more about “control”. In the game against Birmingham when we were 2-1 up, Mavididi had the ball on the left and he ran towards the corner flag. In the past, he would have tried to run towards goal and have a shot. I am sure Mavididi felt that if he didn’t run to the corner flag he would have been accused by the manager (and to be honest many fans) as being selfish and not know how to “game manage”. Ironically, we lost the ball anyway. If he ran towards goal, at least we had a chance to score but more importantly it sends a message to Birmingham that they still need to defend and not just try to attack and put us under pressure! I really don’t know why we do that all the time and take our foot off the pedal when we are in the lead!! I have said it so many times it is so damaging to mentality long term. And so here we are we cannot even beat Millwall because we are so nervous going forward. I absolutely blame Enzo for this - btw Rodgers was the same.

If Enzo stuffs this one up, he won’t be employable as a manager forever.

The thing is, due to the shadows cast by our two fifth placed seasons and our relegation season last year where we kept on having our control of our fate eroded and then eventually leaving it to ours, this is getting pretty nerve wrecking. Some fans kept saying that we will be fine but we were not.

No. Not true. We were favourites from the beginning. In fact, I recall many said with the squad we had, we shouldn’t have been relegated. Even after quite a few left, we still kept a big part of our squad and added to the squad with Winks, Coady, Mavididi, Fatawu, Yugan and Canon with our parachute money.

I have typed enough messages. To sum up, I am disappointed mostly because we are throwing this away ourselves. We have the players and the quality to do so much better. Losing to the likes of Millwall, QPR, Bristol City, Coventry, Middlesbrough (twice) in this division far too many times. Shouldn’t have happened. I don’t mind losing if we tried our best - but clearly we handicap ourselves because of Enzoball. This is what I am most annoyed about. We absolutely have one chance not just to get back up to the Premier League but to not get into a downward spiral. With our FFP troubles and many players out of contract this summer, this is absolutely it. The club has gambled by keeping so many high wage earners in the squad this season, entrusting them to Enzo. This is it. No more experiment Enzo. Just go all in for the win, gun-ho.

Agree. Let’s face it. We are in FFP troubles because of it.

Ironically if we just play gun-ho with the players we have and just take the shackles off, I have a feeling we would be smashing these teams 5-0s. Some fans here blame the players. No, this is fully on Enzo. Remember this is the style of play he wants. If you throw in Nacho with Daka or Vardy as two forwards each game, they would be scoring for fun. But we like our two CBs to be our main passers of the ball instead.

I like to put it to you that we didn’t make them look like Real Madrid but we treated them like Real Madrid. Just have a bit of arrogance and smash them.

Can Enzo explain to us what his football philosophy is?

And now Leeds have an easy run in. We have Southampton and West Brom to come. We can’t even beat Millwall.

Agree. I have no idea how many mistakes Faes has made this season defensively. He is overrated.
