Yes it is, I was being sarcastic.

I'm not totally sure, but I think Puel might have spot him when he trained him for two years at Nice. And to be fair, he was not really an hidden gem, he played in France and Portugal, the 5th and 6tth best leagues in the world, even in Champions League with Porto and is a Portuguese international who played the World Cup.
-
Exactly, this thing about a settled eleven might be one the most stupid thing I read on this forum. Even without talking about injuries or suspension, ofc you have to sometimes rotate players due to tiredness, weeks with 3 games or simply to keep the substitues (and the usual starters) involved and motivated. That has nothing to do with "the coach has no idea whose are his best players".
-
At Nice, Puel also had Alassane Plea. He bought him after knowing him from the young teams in Lyon. Plea had a slow start at Nice (3 goals in 33 matches then 6 in 19 for his first two seasons) then 11 goals in 25 games and 16 goals in 35 which are at least decent. This season he plays at Borussia Monchengladbach where he scored 8 goals (+3 assists) in 13 games and had his first cap for France. He's only 25 yo and is fast, technically gifted, has a good football IQ... I think there is a huge chance he could be Vardy's replacement.

Watford post-match 2-0 Puel out chit-chat
yks replied to Carl the Llama's topic in Leicester City Forum
You said "first decent performance after being awful", maybe I don't understand what "first" mean... Or maybe like all the Puel out fans, you carefully select the period which you find relevant to judge Puel, usually a bad one. But you would never do that, that would be horribly intellectually dishonest... -
Watford post-match 2-0 Puel out chit-chat

If you describe a team ranked 8th in the "best league in the world" being awful the whole season except for one decent match, which words would you use for the 12 teams beneath us ? -
Have you read what you quoted or watched the games. It says he scores as often as before even if we don't play counter-attack anymore. Anyway, I admit he's not very good since the start of the season but it was the same thing 2 years ago so I'm not really worried.

Puel says Leicester have plan to beat Man City
yks replied to Haywood_6's topic in Leicester City Forum
Lyon beat their first team at the Etihad in Champions League and then draw at home crushing them (2.2 xG vs 0.4 xG). I hope Puel saw the two games. -
The issue is the constant atmosphere of negativity and putting the players and coach under pressure with constant criticism. Complaining on a forum never improved anything at any club ever.
-
Not really, 100 Millions isn't really much this years and it's divided between 6 players, including one who was loaned and 3 substitutes.
-
There is only one issue in our club : Some supporters think we are a very good team. We're not. We will always struggle to create chances, to score, to defend, to have long run of good form. Anyway we are comfortably midtable with a lot of space to improve, if it isn't good enough for you, there is nothing that can reasonably be done.
-
I don't have any issue with that, eveybody has the right to enjoy the way his team play but I have with people blaming him for every negative stuff, individual mistakes, brainfarts from the players, unlucky games and never acknowledge the good things he does. For instance today some people said Maddison red card was kind of his fault while the spirit and tactical changes made after the break had nothing to do with him. It's so ludicrous and stupid I can't see how anyone with a semi functional brain could say that without having an agenda.
-
I'm conviced some of them have an agenda, i'm not conviced all of them are LCFC fans...
-
What a boring defensive coach who tried to get a win away with 10 men vs 11. Maddison In.

So many "puel out" calls from fans, so who replaces him?
yks replied to cityfanlee23's topic in Leicester City Forum
IDK... I have no idea how the players will respond having to play weeks after weeks in the same place those tragic events happened. I hope it will galvanise them instead of making them lose focus on the game. -
We unfortunately all know it's not.
-
One minute of heavy clapping at the 10th (because he bought the club in 2010) minute of each game.
-
Doing everything we can as fans to respect and support his vision and philosophy for the future of the club.
-
Puel made a statement : "This is a tragedy for the club. I think a lot about the victims and their families and I want to appease everyone worrying about me. I'm devastatingly sad but I'm fine." http://news.maxifoot.fr/info-293563_181028/football.php

Sorry in the confusion, I haven't seen Claude Puel's account is a parodic one. Here is Gregoire's one : https://twitter.com/gregoirepuel?lang=fr (nothing for more than a year) Paulin's account is empty
-
I checked Puel's and Puel's sons twitter accounts hoping there will be a confirmation he wasn't onboard, there was nothing on it. I hope that is just because the rumor is relatively new.
-
In shock, hoping for a miracle to be announced.
-
Today, yes but overall, it's a lot of weird choices and missed dribbles or passes. I still prefer him over Iheanacho to be fair, and he's still young. Let's hope he'll have a Chilwell-like epiphany.
-
The team I want to see from now : Schmeichel Ricardo - Soyuncu - Maguire - Chilwell Mendy - Iborra Albrighton - Maddison/Iheanacho - Gray/Maddison Vardy I'm sick of all the lost balls by Ndidi and think Mendy is as good as him defensively. I hope Albrighton workrate and tracking back could help Ricardo. I'm neither fully convinced by Gray nor Iheanacho but somebody has to play.
