  1. To be fair don't think we could have played any better in that first half.
  2. And to think I was called a moaner lol.
  3. Easy Foxes. Leicester up for a three minute discussion next.
  4. Realistic assessment. Can't believe he hasn't picked Vardy. I do understand why Morgan is playing. I'm the only Leicester fan in a pub full of United supporters and they were delighted to see the Leicester team. Feels like a disappointment after a pretty good transfer window. Hope I don't sound like a moaner
  5. Was feeling quite confident. But then I seen the team selection. Seriously WTF is that about. 2-0 United.
  6. He knows what he is doing. I think a top 7 finish is not unrealistic. Has significantly strengthened defensively which was critical and bought well I think. I'd keep Slimani though it looks highly unlikely. He offers something different from the other strikers.
  7. Yes it would be. He has potential of that there is no doubt but he needs to kick on and play regular first team football to develop that potential, otherwise I'm not sure he would develop quickly enough. His injury has cleared up - it wasn't anything serious like Maddison, but the recovery was slow. I really don't want to get into a pishy debate about Scottish football, but Maddison spent a season recently at Aberdeen and hardly set the world alight. Sometimes you buy potential, PR is certainly that. The debate is whether Leicester need another squad player or first team players. Mahrez will be massive loss not just the goals but his link up play in particular. Leicester have bought well so far, but they are a team that needs to hit the ground running at the start of the season. Defensively they have bought well, they may well lose something going forward however. Is Paddy the answer if Mahrez goes - not at this point in my opinion, but a season under his belt with a good few games he could next season. But who knows - he could grab his chance.
  8. I've seen Robert's quite a bit over the last two years. Last season he didn't play much due to injury. He is not a replacements for Mahrez as he is an out and out winger whereas Mahrez could drift in to midfield. He is very skilful, easily beat players and can score goals. Currently he is some way off Mahrez's quality. He needs to get his future sorted and his next move is massive. He needs to go to a team where he will get first team football. On that basis I'm not convinced moving to the Foxes would be a good move for him.
  9. It sticks in the craw but Gerard is right. Get him moved, get the money, spend big on a similar.
  10. This is such absolute bollocks. The guy is a gentleman as many Celtic fans will testify. People make these daft comments when they don't have a bloody clue. As for the rumour - zero chance. Rodgers is a Celtic fan and wants to stay for a another few seasons. He's building a decent squad at Celtic and before anybody says anything about how crap Scottish football is I'll say two things: Scottish football gets fraction of the money the Premier League does and Celtic will always be a far far bigger club than Leicester. Just to add I've been a Celtic supporter all my life and Leicester supporter for over 30 years (ever since I seen that Keith Weller cracker when I was a kid). Rodgers would be a fantastic appointment but there is no chance of it happening for the next few seasons.
  11. He knocked back the ROI under the granny rule if memory serves me right. Wanted to play to England. How's that going LOL.
  12. We got good money for him - we've moved on and I wish him well on his transfer to Wolves next year.
  13. Look out, look out the correction police are about. Oh piss off. It was an bloody typo.
  14. I think the bold Damari isn't as good as he thinks he is. If we got a ridiculous daft offer I'd sell.
  15. I wouldn't sign him for his hair cut alone. Vastly over-rated and completely average.
  16. Grealish is one of those typically over-rated players that will go for big money and he will have a good game every 7 or 8 games. Mediocrity at its worst.
  17. The absolute priority is to get the back line sorted. We need two new full backs and a quality centre back. You build from the back - it gives a solid foundation. We absolutely must have a creative player in midfield as Mahrez will likely be gone. Other than that I really don't think we need too many players. We've wasted so much money it is better to cut our losses on players instead of having a bloated squad.
  18. Granted it was highlights I seen but by all accounts we played well apart from the first 10-15 mins. Really should have had a draw - wasteful in front of goal.
  19. Hello all - Deebhoy here. Lifelong Leicester and Celtic supporter. Lurked for many years here but decided to join. Hope to contribute constructively to the discussions.
  20. Morgan was a good player for us but centre of defence has to be one of the priority areas during the summer.
