At least it'll hopefully push Puel closer to the exit door. Patience and faith are commendable but watching this absolute crap every game shows we're going backwards in general.

Whichever tw@t let that smoke flare off in the Canal House is an absolute moron. Got it closed and people with full drinks were being made to abandon them and leave, even families. I get that it's good that domestic footy is back but dickheads who can't handle their ale in the sun should get back to masturbating over Tommy Robinson.

I'm not too bothered about the style of play as long as it gets reasonable results. Barring the bit of a bounce shortly after he arrived, the football under Puel has been neither attractive or effective. Add to that we've lost arguably our best player and are clearly in transition and it doesn't bode well. People will laugh and happy clappers will shoot me down but I reckon we're staring a relegation battle in the face. Far far bigger clubs than us have gone down after naively assuming their team was mid-table quality at worst.

A very, very underwhelming 9th, especially given the generally poor quality of the division outside the top 6.

It feels like a very, very underwhelming 9th though. The standard of the rest of the league was as bad as I've ever seen it so it's a massive missed opportunity IMO.
