  1. Just got back from my first outing at Seagrave. Really enjoyed the evening. Thought JJ, Aluko, Cartwright and Briggs were excellent. Monga looked to be carrying a knock to me, Golding has fairly tidy feet, but looks completely immobile, can’t see him succeeding at a higher level. Braybrooke is tidy, but lacks physicality. Aluko looks very good, brave footballer and bundles of energy. Briggs caused problems all evening, his goal was a lovely bit of work. Like the look of Cruz Allen too, might be worth seeing if we can steal him away from Derby?
  2. King Power timing….
  3. Disagree that the has no pace. He’s deceptively quick, I think he would be much better suited playing down the middle in all honesty. He can press well, he’s proven he can finish, and he works hard. At this stage, that’s all I ask for, because what is currently being served up is a ****ing disgrace.
  4. What we need is for Top to drop this idea the wants to be like Man City…. Hire a young talented coach and let them decide how they want to play. Stop interfering with the team and leave football to those who actually understand it.
  5. I imagine quite a lot of people. Who would have wanted to purchase Everton? We’re still a club and an entity in our own right….. someone might want to out the wheels back on…… any large consortium would consider purchasing a former PL champion, and a significant one at that, to boost their profile…..
  6. Even Antonio has a chance of scoring.
  7. Make sure you get a pot of Pringles too! The mini one though, don’t want to self indulge!
  8. I actually don’t think the gap is increasing…… when you consider Fulham and Bournemouth have recently gone down and come back again, Forest managed to stay up. I think this season is down to two teams who are having off field issues in us and Southampton (as per JWP message prior to their relegation), and Ipswich arguably came up too soon, and just haven’t added enough quality. I don’t think if you sat down and went through any season it’s too far from the norm. I just think this season is particularly bad through poor recruitment. Clever recruitment is the remedy.
  9. Interesting, I wasn’t aware of that. But would we then play him?
  10. There’s no chance he stays, not with the international interest in him. The only way we could keep him beyond this season is if we stayed up, and he was to play. So, the fact we’re going down will just make it easier for him to go.
  11. You’re not wrong though with what you say. I didn’t go to the Brentford game, and it’s the first time my group and I said we can’t be arsed. Yes the club may have my money, but I don’t really care about that….. they didn’t have my support for the Brentford game, so I agree with you, empty seats speaks volumes. I just wish we had a fan base willing to do it. A mass walk out after 14 minutes for example would do more damage to the reputation of KP and the would send a stronger message to the club than a picture of Rudkin as a clown. In my opinion.
  12. I’ve been going since 1997. This is comfortably the worst version of Leicester City I’ve ever seen, the lack of commitment and care from both those who run the club and those who play for the club is worse than I’ve ever seen. From betting companies on shirts, to complete silence and secrecy from above…. This isn’t Leicester City anymore….. this is a failing part of the King Power corporation.
  13. Hermansen Coady Vesty Okoli Ricardo Kristiensen Ndidi Soumare Buonanotte Bilal E K McAteer Manager: The King.
  14. It’s not a juvenile argument as I witness it week in week out. I’m not suggesting you personally are one of these fans, but there are large pockets of fans who go to the games and offer nothing, they just sit in pure silence, clapping the players off after abysmal performances and scoff at anyone who openly criticise the club. The supporter community is largely passive on match days, it’s why the atmosphere absolutely stinks most of the time. Things are bad at the moment because of those running the club. This is the worst Leicester city team I’ve ever watched, and I watched us under Taylor, Bassett, Levein and Holloway. This is by far the worst state we’ve ever been in, not because of the finances, because of the lack of care most of the full time members of the club have for both the club, and its fans. We’re not Leicester City anymore, we are a failing part of the King Power corporation.
  15. We will be getting relegated again. The mess behind the club isn’t conducive to a successful team.
  16. One thing needs to be put straight, those on either side of the argument need to accept that either opinion for and against king power is due to a love for the club. Those of us who are now at the stage where we want to see change at the top, is not because we hate the club, it’s far from it…. The truth is, that even with a title win and an FA cup, this football club is a shadow of the club I fell in love with…. I fell in love with baggy shirts and white shorts. The tearing of ticket stubs, the smell of fried onions drifting down filbert street, and the vision of climbing the stairs at filbert street to see the score board kissing the periphery of the Leicester skyline. There’s undeniably been an erosion at the club, and the most loyal of fans can’t seriously deny this……. We all have our own agendas, some won’t imagine speaking out against the club, some will…… but speaking out against the club isn’t a bad thing…… when the fans aren’t happy, you see the true colours of the board room, and we’re seeing this right now with ours unfortunately. The cold hard facts are, king power have exhausted their resources here, and the chief officers are incapable of performing their roles. Between Top, Susan and Rudkin we are drowning, and need saving.
  17. There will be large pockets of fans still going, the type who take their pot of Pringles, nuts and sandwiches. Clapping away loving life, and scowling at anyone who dares question the regime…..
  18. Another “surprise” relegation might be what we need to be shot of King Power….. imagine the horror and complete shock for Top if we get relegated.
  19. There’s already a West Ham thread open, with a more apt title to boot.
  20. Susan and John will probably throw a buffet for the top office, whilst Top’s kids take him out to Lego land for the day.
  21. Wolves were always going to get the wins themselves they needed eventually. They’re so far ahead of us and they’re in 17th…. Speaks volumes really. If you think there’s even a shred of hope you’re deluded. Just a couple of wins will see Wolves safe.
  22. The team is shit, which we know. But he’s making worse tactical decisions than Cooper. At least with Cooper we were in games, now, we’re ****ing nowhere. The odd passing sequence, but that’s about it. To consistently persist with a front line that’s a combined age of over 100, week in week out, is either down to a complete lack of ****s, or incompetence…. Because no matter the lack of or perceived lack of quality in depth, you try something different. He doesn’t, he changes nothing, tries nothing and just watching the same shit happen week in week out, he will go down as one of the worst managers in our history. He inter Taylor levels of shit.
