Give over, self entitled? How exactly? I again reiterate this is exactly the mindset that will allow King Power to continue to kill the club….. what’s self entitled about generating more money than any club of our size to not only piss it away, but manage to breach PSR in the process? What’s entitled about demanding those responsible be held accountable……. By actively showing our displeasure at frankly disgusting rumours like Russell Martin is the only way this board may get the message. Top is making hideous decision after hideous decision, and his backing band of Rudkin and Whelan are just as culpable….. appointing Russel Martin would be a disaster…. Especially with how fragile this club currently is…. Nothing will change if fans sit on their hands in silence, chanting out against the board, and poor decisions is the only way they may start to get the message. Staying silent is simply being complicit in their destruction of the club.

I totally agree with you. Ronaldo and Messi are the last of individual brilliance. Which is why Monga is so exciting, but, you know full well he will get plucked by Man City in the summer and be turned into another boring sideways passing player. Pep is completely to blame for what modern football has become….. just boring, unimaginative, unexciting football with every bit of individuality beaten out of a player. I long to see some high intensity, all out energy, in your face football.

And we’ve contributed to being one of the three worst teams in the worst ever premier league. It’s been a hideous advert for modern football, for English football……. But this is where the whole process falls on its arse. Relegation from the premier league is a massive issue, particularly for clubs like us…. So Everton and Forest both stay up, and we go down twice in three years? Surely we have the same argument? We lost out where others benefitted….

Martins far too much of a gamble. At least Maresca’s basic principals of having two wide players worked. If he hasn’t assessed this and realised it’s a bad idea we could be screwed. Can’t afford to waste what will be a limited window.

Well if he does end up here and that’s what he does then he will get murdered. One bonus maybe, and this is clutching at straws. Is we’re unlikely to go mad in the window, so he’s not going have as much at his disposal as he did Southampton. So he’s may be forced to do things slightly differently. If you’ve not got a massive squad, you then can ignore the likes of Fatawu, Mavididi and potentially Monga and live to tell the tale.

But did Martin have those options at his disposal at Southampton?

You’re right, he won’t unless he’s driven out…. Problem is, they’ve got the loyal king power fans by the balls. It’s a simple as throw some free beers and cake out and all is forgiven….. write of the debt and idiots like Ian Stringer lap it up.
