Liverpool are unchallenged, Forest are knocking on the door of Europe, and if it wasn’t for the worst bottom three on PL history Manure would be in a relegation fight…… Football in general is on its arse, in my opinion, in this moment, it’s probably the most average crop of players at the highest level, we’ve seen in modern football.

One of the catalysts to our downfall was the alleged extra responsibility we gave Brendan with regards to transfers, and it told… Brendan is a good coach, a top coach in fact, however, what prevents him from rubbing shoulders with the games elite, is his hideous transfer history. His Liverpool signings look diabolical in comparison to Klopp, and following his first stint at Celtic they warned us too about his ropey transfers. I believe THAT disastrous window was the time it really came to a head. Brendan, had control, but so did the club, and I think it came to a cross roads on this moment. The club signed the likes of Daka and Soumare who I am convinced Brendan didn’t want or actively seek, and then we signed Bertrand and Jannick, who are both just big bags of shit. PRS came around to bite us, and Brendan lost his head, thus the decline hit turbo mode…… Brendan is a fantastic coach, but his shortcomings are pretty significant for a manager, perhaps he has changed, but I think he views himself so highly, that eventually he will slip back into his old ways again.
