It had to have been surely….. we forced the deal through to ensure we complied. To be fair, even if we haven’t breached, I fully expect the PL to say we have, because they will be desperate to get one over on us…. I know for a fact there are people within the PL organisation who despise us, and actively want to ensure we go down and stay down. But, I’m sure KDH is included in the 23/24 accounts….. there’s going to be a lot of click bait until it’s revealed.

Mate he isn’t as good as either Bilal or Facundo……
-
I wouldn’t for a second think he would want to come back? Surely?
-
Probably Robert Lox, but my mates adamant we want Chilwell back on loan.

Any signing that has the potential to have a chant to go with “My Sharona” is a massive ****ing yes!!!!

I’m sure this was considered a couple of years ago?

Odsonne Edouard joins on loan - Official

On paper it was potentially a good signing. He was electric at Celtic, and with the France under 21’s….. it was a gamble on a player who’s lost his way, and it hasn’t worked out. So I imagine you’re suggesting the fans signed him? -
Brendan rated him very highly, so it’s likely he’s been on the list for some time.

Judging by the state of this forum, I can’t imagine 25 is going to be a barrel of laughs…….

Does this guy say a lot of controversial and outdated comments?

I thought he was really poor against Birmingham when he played for us. No awareness behind him at all. He won’t make it as a top level player.

I completely disagree with this… Firstly Ruud has probably had about 13 days on the training field with the lads, the team has been transitioning from Cooper’s clueless football to Ruud’s ideology. We couldn’t defend for toffee, we were conceding goals and chances like no tomorrow, so Ruud has had to address that, which initially means you may have to focus on the defence a bit more, but we are still creating chances, I would be more worried if we weren’t creating any chances at all. The wolves game was a complete tactical **** up, starting Ward was a huge error, but Ruud can’t really be blamed all that much, as he has only had a limited amount of time with the players. In isolation, that Wolves game was the worst day he has had. Newcastle have one of the most formidable midfield and attacks in the league, Liverpool are looking like they will eventually be champions (but I can genuinely see Forest challenging them if they get a decent striker in), Man City are struggling but still a class side…. To suggest there’s no style must mean you’ve spent the last two games with your eyes closed…. Because it’s clear the roots are starting to appear….. Man City was the best performance this season, albeit for two defensive lapses and some wasteful finishing….. I argue that the current signs are progressive, performances are key and generally bar Newcastle and Wolves we’ve improved, with some decent business over the next few weeks we could alright. As for Ipswich, they got battered last night, it’s a complete fluke of a result, and doesn’t define the season…… we could go to Villa and get something, they’re not the force a lot of people think they are and with a stroke of luck and a decent performance we’re capable of upsetting them. And then we’ve got a hand full of games we could get points from…. I’d take a run taking points off the teams around us, over a one off win over Chelsea. Despite the disaster fixation that’s going on, on this forum, the last two games have shown signs of improvement…. Defensively we’ve been better, we’ve looked more comfortable as a side and I think there’s the shoots of Ruud’s style showing. As a fan base we need to be more positive, regardless of how bleak we think things are, a couple of weeks and the picture could be completely different.
-
We’ve already picked points up under Ruud? So why do we not look like picking any up despite some decent performances of late?
-
The lads mental resolve is to be applauded, to go through the injury he did at such a young age can finish some young players off. But he’s managed to fight back and is now included in the match day squad. Excellent stuff.

Two ****ing games. If that’s Vardy he would be banned for at least six…..
-
Marcos Leonardo is pissing about in Saudi now, still convinced this lad is the next Sergio Aguero…. Tickle him with a loan move see if he fancies it.
-
Ipswich want him too, you know he would go there and score goals. Unless you can pay big money for a quality proven striker, you have to take a gamble sometimes on a player. It depends who our rivals are after too, if there is genuinely a better striker we can go for and afford then we should, but there’s something about this lad, he’s not excelling at Brighton as they had hoped, but a change of manager and coaching could help him. Unfortunately we’re not in a position to be picky.
-
Exactly. One weekend can change the picture, a couple of good results can completely change the course of the season. Theres loads of factors still left….. if we can strengthen, perhaps Wolves and Everton can’t….. Cunha at some point will be banned so that will seriously harm Wolves, they’ve done well since Vitor came in, but they could easily lose their next three, as could Ipswich and Everton, so this will ebb and flow. January and February are the key months, this is where we need to try and get points on the board.
-
There’s little point trying to convince some we stand a chance…… no logic is used when predicting our results at the moment!
-
We’ve really got to get an unexpected win. I’m not totally giving up until after the January window, because that can have a huge impact on the season. But, it’s the alignment and disillusion within the club I worry about, we’re not aligned, unlike Ipswich who are all fighting for one another, and we seemingly aren’t, as a club we’re just sailing with no direction.
-
Spot on. And this is why Ipswich and wolves will likely survive and we won’t. There’s now an established disconnect between the fans and the club, it’s like a husband and wife divorcing but choosing to live together for the kids… we are a dysfunctional family and are in desperate need of a clear out and refresh…. The likelihood is that we’re about to do a Southampton, we’re heading for league one in my opinion (if we go down) so now’s the opportunity for Top to really assess what he wants from this club, or even does he want it anymore…… we’ve seen the result of poor leadership, it just doesn’t end well for clubs of our size, but the sheer amount of money we have pouring out of this club, another series of poor decisions could finish us off. The ownership appears not to be interested, the fans are disconnected and the squad is substandard…… the worst part about all of it, is Vardy’s career with us is likely to have an unsavoury end, not befitting of what he has delivered for this club. He should have taken himself off to Saudi or America in the summer and earned himself a nice wedge ready for retirement, his departure from the club would have been on a high…… Our problem is nothing is being resolved, we just appear to be patching up bad decisions as we go, and eventually all of that comes catching up to you. We could do with an masterclass from Brighton on how to run a football club.
