We someone who’s not a massive twat, and a shit defender playing. If you’re reading this Wout, you’re ****ing shit mate.

Not a chance, unless we sign the right profile of player. Man City have done away with the inverted full back role because it’s ineffective against teams who are good in the transition, which is what we used to do to Man City when we battered them in the past. Now Pep adopts ball playing CB, and one of them will step into the midfield as a CDM. It’s a much better version of the idea as it doesn’t leave you exposed on the flanks like an inverted full back does. Liverpool deploy TAA in this way because he’s the best in the world at it. Riccy has been good, but just look at the goals we’ve been conceding lately, mostly down that left hand side.

Problem with Patson is you just can’t afford to keep giving him chances. We’ve been unlucky with strikers because as you’ve eluded to, they’ve been injured a lot between them bar Pat. But he just doesn’t have the minerals to perform under pressure. His complete lack of technique is staggering I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player who can’t even perform the basics well, I’m not even joking when I say I’ve seen kids with a better all round technical game than Daka. This means you can’t rely on him, he’s amazing at bundling the ball over the line but we don’t play in a way that presents that kind of opportunity, and when his confidence is low, he may as well not be on the pitch because you’ve genuine shot 10 men. But you’re right in that we can’t rely on Vardy for full games. Where Enzo has gone wrong in my opinion is that second high 8. N’didi has done okay on that role but he’s not an 8, his only his athletic attributes that have made a positive contribution, now that he is looking a bit leggy he isn’t having the same impact. Incidentally, I think Enzo should try Wilf in that inverted full back role. Wilf is defensive minded, there’s no better player in the world than him when fit at retrieving the ball in that quadrant of the pitch. As the role isn’t a traditional full back role, he won’t be required to act as a second wide attacker, he can move infield and back into that full back role to defend. I genuinely believe he’s the best candidate for that role, but Enzo will play Riccy because of his ability on the ball in tight spaces. Riccy has been amazing, but I would love to see Wilf deployed there at some point because when it comes to next season (IF) he decides to stay, we will need more physicality in that position, and I just think his combative style will complement Winks.

I’d argue Vardy has done his bit. Probably gone beyond…. He had a bad game V Bristol but as we’ve discussed in the past, when your team is on its arse it can have a massive impact on your form too. The ones who have been abominations have been Daka and Kalechi…… the former being given countless chances and repeatedly making a mess of it, the latter, granted he has been injured, has been so disinterested in surprised he has even turned back up. Meanwhile Cannon, who clearly wants to play barely gets a minute.

Team locked in dressing room post Plymouth game

This is the greatest comment ever. -
He’s not good, he’s certainly different, but his all round game is poor. He is incapable of performing the basics which you can’t be at a top level. He does well in Europe because he’s afforded more time in dangerous areas, and one thing he is fairly good at is getting into good areas of the pitch and due to his lack of technical ability, his goals tend to come in all different forms. Off his studs, arse or nose. He is all limbs and not much else, it’s more his all round game, it’s absolutely appalling and it’s just not what we need particularly at this moment.

How difficult is it to get promoted after being relegated?

Someone tell the manager that. -
To save cash we will be playing in skins next season.

I listened to the football forum earlier as I was driving, and I’m sorry but that chap they had on I completely disagreed with when talking tactics, especially Daka. He’s our best all round number 9? That’s nonsense… 1. his pressing is largely useless, it’s more running around like a headless chicken than pressing…. How many times has his pressing lead to a goal? Once, twice maybe? 2. He can’t drop into the pocket and receive the ball to feet, the comment made was “might bounce off him once or twice” no, his close control is hideous, stuff doesn’t bounce off him, he is incapable of controlling a football, back to goal he’s appalling, and 9/10 gets muscled off the ball. 3. His runs off the ball are also poor, he tends to run down blind alleys, and normally just does the same run every time, but it’s completely ineffective. He’s always offside and when he does break the likes with a run, he is incapable of dribbling and his first touch is akin to Gary Glitters. The one thing I will say about Daka, is he is completely unorthodox and I think he does have an ability to get into good areas on the box, but he completely lacks any kind of ruthlessness to take his chances regularly. He’s not nasty enough, he’s too nice and he just gets bullied when he’s on the pitch. And this is why he will never, ever be cut out for English football, he is best going back abroad where the football is a bit kinder to him. That said, he lacks so many basic skills a footballer should have, it’s frankly a miracle he’s even managed to become a pro footballer, I find it staggering, I’ve seen 10 year olds with a better all round game than him. He's genuinely shit.

He should be banned from football.

Could potentially do their legs that….. provided we get our act together and win our next two games!

Ipswich don’t play until the 27th? That’s odd.

The one saving Grace for us is neither West Brom or Southampton will play a low block. Both will be far more expansive than our recent opponents, but, defensively we’re absolutely shocking at the moment, so it may come down to out scoring out opponents. Preston and Blackburn are the ones I worry about, both are well capable of scrapping and it’s something we simply can’t deal with. Having said that, if we can somehow get two wins in our next two, that will set us up nicely to kick on into the last two.

Re Cannon and why people are asking for the call for different attackers to be tried, it’s as simple as we’re currently completely ineffective in attack. Two facts are; Daka is useless and shouldn’t ever be in the squad again. Vardy can only play 20 minutes to half an hour. So that means we can’t rely on him. Kalechi I don’t think can be arsed, and we can’t risk relying on him if he can’t be arsed his contract is up in the summer, if he comes in and would be prepared to play properly then obviously I’d have him, because he’s a match winner. Re Cannon, I like him, I didn’t initially but I do really like him. He has a good touch, he’s got good technique, he picks up good positions and is a good finisher…. He is also confident in the right kind of way. So, for me he has to be given a chance to play. Faes has to go, he’s an abomination, how he’s continued to play is a mystery. Coady has to come in, that side completely lacks any kind of leadership at all. Promotion is character over ability, if you have both then brilliant, but you’ll never go up without character. There’s no excuses, this squad should not be losing to teams like Millwall and Plymouth… the reality is, if enzo abandons this stupid philosophy of his and makes the necessary changes. But will he? I doubt it. We all know exactly what team he will our out against West Brom, and we be subjected to the same shit we have been. The fact 90% of the fan base can see this and he can’t is astounding. He’s got the chance of a life time to get this right….. 4 games…. 4 games we should be winning, 4 games we were winning, 4 games for him to prove he isn’t tactically inept.

Drop the inverted full back and switch to more traditional wing backs. Ricardo and JJ are both much better in those roles. Drop Wilf, bring in Cannon and Akgun. Would something like this be too drastic a change. Mads Coady Vesty Doyle Ricardo Justin KDH Winks Praet Cannon Vardy
-
Wilf is playing a position that he really can’t. It worked initially, but it’s not working now. He needs to be dropped deeper to support winks and push KHD higher up the pitch.

Experience is everything in these situations. Albrighton has “lead by example” qualities and this team could desperately do with this.

Enzo Out? Time for an official thread/poll
Pliskin replied to SecretPro's topic in Leicester City Forum
He’s got an opportunity to correct his mistake. If he makes the right changes I.E. Cannon, Coady in the team, and potentially Yunus and Praet all starting. And Albrighton at least on the bench. Change the system and try something else…… Question is, will he? This weekend has been a let off, we could be in a position after Preston where a slip up from one of Ipswich or Leeds could see us promoted…….. he needs to sit down and realise this…… If Faes starts again or Daka is in the squad again, I’m done. -
Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

Can’t Top just sell the stadium in a dodgy deal to one of his mates? -
Another ****ing life line.

We just need Enzo to learn football between now and West Brom.

All of us will lose every game, Southampton win the league and we go up in second.

We are like a heroin addict, straight out of rehab for a second chance and the first thing we do is get back on the gear…. Chance after chance presented to us.
