At some point Ipswich will have to lose a game. You can’t keep doing this surely? All we can do is just focus on us, we’ve got a massive advantage being we have a game extra to play. We’ve been on good runs previously, we need to try and do it again. Enzo needs to learn a lot about himself over the coming weeks. 7 massive games to go, let’s go out and win all of them, then it’s ours. #****theefl.

My issue is, do we trust us to not stuff up a game against a side like Millwall? We can’t be losing to anyone towards the foot of the table.

It’s all entirely our own fault. We’ve blown our chance. We ain’t getting top two.

A frail mentality, a tactically stubborn manager and grit seldom go hand in hand. There’s definitely a softness about us that Leeds and Ipswich don’t possess, and when it comes to the crunch you need both of those things. We’ve just got to be perfect from now.

We still conceded three goals in about ten minutes? You need to show better mental resolve than that, even if the referees have made poor decisions.

You can’t blame officials for tossing away a double points cushion.

I don’t know, I think we had our shot and we blew it. Now it’s down to if either Leeds or Ipswich can keep on grinding out results, which so far, they are doing. It’s going to be down to who can hold their nerve…. Why the **** have we done this to ourselves? Losing that points cushion was criminal.

Ipswich are finishing top two. No doubt about it.

A win we needed. Performance was still very patchy. First half wasn’t great, slow pace and didn’t really stretch them all that often. Conceded a very poor goal too. Second half we came out with much more pace about our game. Started to isolate their fullbacks and get the wingers in one v one situations. But after we scored the second goal, we seemed to sit back again and allowed them more control in the game again. Thought Mavididi grew into the game after the first goal, but Abdul was all over the place, some good stuff and then some moments of pure insanity, but at least he stretched the play in the second half. Thought N’didi was poor today, looked miles off it fitness wise, Daka was poor today too. I’m glad we got the third, needed it to just give the lads a boost, they seemed to be together after that performance which I was concerned about perhaps their heads had gone. Just need to back it up now, try and go on a run, take care of ourselves.

A month a go I’d have said no. Now, I’d snap your hand off for second. Id still see the season a failure, although promotion would be achieved, to surrender such a commanding position so easily is unforgivable.

Abdul’s been a shocking for weeks. His only meaningful contribution of late came against Bournemouth….. but the bigger issue is he is now becoming a liability. Poor decision making in dangerous areas of the pitch is leading us to concede in the transition, and at the moment our defence is as solid as piss wet tissue paper, so it usually costs us goals or momentum.

We need to go for it, not try and manage the game so ferociously, because when you’re not at it, it doesn’t work. Most championship games are chaotic. It just infuriates me that we’ve got pace to burn in this side, yet we never use it……. If we set up to attack in the transition, we’d be untouchable in my opinion.
