There’s not much I like about modern football in all honesty, it’s a step away from the Disney channel!
-
I’m surprised they’re letting us do it again after last season 😂
-
KDH is fantastic, I feel slightly disappointed in him this season, despite as you say 24 goal contributions, but that’s because I know he can be even better. Even in the premier league he put on some fantastic displays in a poor team. But I personally think he’s the best player in the league on his day, I’d just like to see him on his day more often.
-
Very tough. Ricardo has been sensational, Winks integral. But Mads is a different level. I’ll be stunned if we keep hold of him, he’s going to be one of the best goalkeepers on the world.
-
To be fair. The easy option is to shout sack them. It probably would be much better if they all admitted they were wrong and put it right. It’s not necessarily going to make things better sacking people and hiring new, how do we know that they will get it right? What would be better is as I said, they put it right themselves, that then you would hope they’ve learnt their lessons and hopefully won’t make the same mistakes again.
-
I wouldn’t say relegation is certain, the bottom cluster of clubs are so poor, we may have to sell the likes of KDH, possibly Winks too and Mads for decent money, and wisely reinvest it. We’ve still got a good chance of surviving, if we do it properly, and don’t take any silly risks.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

Makes sense then. I think the approach towards to leagues is an attempt to somewhat protect ourselves from them, in respect of the EFL’s initial approach wasn’t within the regulations which was backed at the time by a panel? Id like to think it won’t, because our issue isn’t with the independent panel, so they will review the facts and decide based on them. The legal side of things is separate again and against them. It’s all going to be messy, very messy indeed. -

There maybe, but it will be down to shortcomings in the EPL and EFL’s policies and procedures over any mitigations we may have. It’s always worth it in my opinion, regardless of the negligence displayed by the club, there’s no harm in taking legal advice and in some cases action, because if there are shortcomings noted, the whole case could be thrown out. It’s the point of legal advice, they will scrutinise the powers and policies used, and if there’s something amiss they will challenge it. Then the EPL and EFL would have to change the way they implement the rules and regs. Plus, the EPL can’t just throw more at us because where trying to defend ourselves, if they do they will likely lose that battle, as they will only be able to impose punishment in line with the breaches. Id argue them giving Forest points back for “being good boys and girls” may indicate a shortcoming in their policies, they’ve opened themselves up a little bit with that move, if you’re going to punish a club, punish them properly. It’s all a bit of a mess from all sides, it wouldn’t surprise me if there are some legal abnormalities within the EPL and EFL’s policies, just because of how brash they are at times. -
They’ve both been injured, and now they’re unlikely to be used because of our situation, there no was Enzo will risk playing them at the minute.

What would it take to turn on the owners?
Pliskin replied to MattFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Didn’t Everton argue that 10 points was going into administration levels of charges? That’s what an Everton fan has told me, and that’s why they reduced it. So if what he said is true, then unless we’ve had multiple separate breaches, a breach is a breach, and it’s the same deduction regardless? I don’t know how the points are administered, but do the PL just decide based on your level of breach? -

In terms of punishments, surely if it’s the premier league it will be in line with the rest of the league. I imagine us getting legal protection is that we’re defending ourselves from the off, yes we have breached, but the PL can still only punish us proportionately, and not add extra because they want to punish us even more, because legally we could probably stop that. So, we could still only end up with 6 points deducted? Surely? -

But to the detriment of the club. We probably could have continued to have success if we weren’t so negligent with the finances. The contracts and wages have killed us…. We tried to financially compete with the likes of Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal….. these clubs are financial powerhouses, for which we can never financially compete against. To even attempt to is negligent…. We could have still have been successful but not have been spending more money that the club was even generating. It’s just not acceptable in any walk of life, and the worst part is, we got relegated, the spending didn’t stop and we still managed to fail. It’s the signs of a very badly run club, in fact, we’re probably now amongst the worst run clubs in the country which has been proven factually. -
Tops over reliance in Rudkin is his undoing. But is seems he trusts him explicitly, it wouldn’t surprise me if he has gone for Rudkin for advice……
-
They are Morons. It’s not disrespectful, what’s disrespectful the the ridiculous state they’ve now left us in. There’s no defence at all……. You can’t bring up success as a defence, it’s not even negligence it goes well beyond that. This is a club, that when they already knew they were in breach, still offered Harrison £100k a week……. Knowing they were in breach still have given Winks a reported £80k a week…….. This is incompetence, ineptitude, insanity……. To suggest anything other is ridiculous. Top, cannot run this football club, he has not got a clue what he is doing. And he is surrounded by people who are equally as incompetent. He either needs to sack everyone around him, employ a more competent backroom staff, and then take a step back and just contribute under their advice, sack everyone around him, and sell the club. He has destroyed his fathers legacy, everything we built up over years has been ruined because of the few absolutely brainless seasons. A free beer and cake can’t get them out of this one, although it seems a % of the fan base would probably fall for that again……..
-
But, But, But free beer?
-
Top asking Nigel for advice.
-
Protest before and after the game. During the game we’ve got to support the team….. because promotion is the lesser of two evils, and we really do not want to not go up.

We’re kind of stuck as a fan base now…. Given our fragile position and necessity to go up, turning on the clubs owners could look like we’re turning on the players, and could have a detrimental impact on the lads…… We have to support the team, but can’t sit back and let the board think that this is remotely acceptable…… -

The legal process is likely to just be a shot in the dark to try and gain some leverage I imagine. It will likely be more money wasted I mean it looks like we’re experts in flushing money down the drain. -

No amount of superlatives could begin to explain the sheer negligence at play here. In fact, it goes beyond that…… If it was so simple, Top needs to sell the club and those responsible need to get out as well. Vichai’s dream is in ruin thanks to the idle hands of his son, and his clueless consortium. -
