Because I genuinely thought we would kick on after the international break, I thought we would see another run of 9 games won like we’ve done already this season….. but instead, I saw a lost, leaderless bunch of players with no belief in themselves or what they’re being asked to do. It’s extreme because the situation is extreme. What we are witnessing is the most spectacular collapse in modern football league history.

We shouldn’t be bothered about what Leeds and Ipswich are doing, we should be bothered about what we are doing, and at the moment what we are doing is pissing away yet another season.

I deal with patterns and evidence. And the evidence is the pattern we’re currently on isn’t changing.

This is an attitude I can’t stand, entitled? What about expectation? What part of this is the most expensively assembled championship side ever do people not get? We’ve got international players playing for us, and arguably the best squad on paper. At the moment we’re like a Ferrari being driven by a child…… The collapse has been nothing short of disgraceful, you can cope with a “wobble” but this goes far beyond that, and it’s compounded by a manager who absolutely will not deviate from his “idea” even though at the moment his “idea” is wrong. Good managers recognise when it’s the right time to deploy their preferred tactics, they know when it’s time to try something different for the benefit of the team. At the moment Enzo is putting his philosophy before the team. There’s minimum expectation that every fan demands, and at the moment we’re falling well short of that minimum expectation.

Shocking is harsh, Forest lost their head when they got to the PL, just chucking money around like no one’s business. Forest fans think a lot of him, they say he wasn’t given a fair crack and was victim to their owners insanity. Still, you’d only offer him a short term deal with the view of extending it if it goes well.

Fischer would be great long term, but short term we need someone who knows this league and can ideally hit the ground running. Still, all a pipe dream……

Absolutely agree 100%. I can’t stand these “it’s fine margins” bollocks, that’s premier league football, this is championship football, where 90% of the league is utter crap. Yesterday was the most disgraceful performance I’ve seen for over a decade. If the alarm bells aren’t ringing in the board room then god help us all. It is clear this project has failed, yet we will just continue to blindly say “win on Monday and it’s back on”….. we won’t win on Monday, we will get turned over by Norwich comfortably, because this team has no confidence, no leadership and is being asked to play a way it currently can’t. It’s the best squad in the league, being guided by a school boy….. the only way we get out of this rut, is if the manager goes, it’s unfortunately as simple as that.

But we won’t take advantage will we? How many times over the last few years have we heard; ”if we just win here we will be ahead” ””they won’t win every game” The fact of the matter is, we never ever do what we’re supposed to. We lost to ****ing Bristol, that’s not a slip up, that’s a sign of a team in absolute free fall. We can get behind the team all we want, but the discord between the manager and the players is clear to see. Under Enzo we won’t go up, in fact, we might not win another game…. He desperately needs to change things, and he’s said countless times that he won’t change it…….. he’s not got a clue what he’s doing, and he’s just trying to play the players back into form, it doesn’t work. The only chance we now have, is if Enzo sticks to his word and clears off, there’s no belief in his project, it’s suffocating us and we’ve nearly lost consciousness.

Agree. Id add, that I do feel somewhat for the wingers because they’re being asked to produce something at walking pace. Momentum is everything in football, and we don’t play with any.

We would have lost. They came from behind to earn a point….. we lost to a team who literally have **** all to play for, and have a broken Matty James in midfield.

Going to be such an easy win for Norwich. Who better to play than a spineless Leicester city.

Would be nice to have a manager that instils a never say die attitude into his players.

What’s absolutely ridiculous is blowing a lead that was impossible to blow. It’s about time some people woke up and smelt the coffee, Enzo hasn’t got a ****ing clue what he’s doing.

And this is precisely why Leeds and Ipswich will go up automatically. Don’t do it to yourselves.

Nigels time is done, he’s unwell and is probably best placed in a studio. Cooper would be my choice. He was a victim of Forests crazy experiments, and what he did to get them out of the championship was nothing short of incredible. It won’t happen, but I personally think it’s the only way we salvage this season.

No hesitations if they win.
