  1. Just his interviews, he always seems to distance himself from talking about the backroom staff, and his happy to say he will go as soon as people lose faith in his philosophy. I just have a gut feeling that there’s a bit of discord between him and the board. I just feel that he will happily challenge them, whereas Rodgers for example would have sat and just waited to be sacked and paid off. Nothing but a hunch.
  2. What I want Mads Ricardo Coady Souttar Justin N’didi Winks KDH Albrighton Mavididi Vardy What is almost definitely going to be the team Mads Ricardo Faes Vesty Justin Winks N’didi KDH Fatawu Mavididi Vardy
  3. You raise a good point about disrupting Leeds’ flow. International breaks can come at good times and bad times. We’ve got to make this count, we just need to assume Leeds will win their final 8 games, we need to then aim to match them, and then take advantage in the game in hand.
  4. Just to reiterate, when people refer to having a different option it doesn’t always mean plan B smash it long. You can still play possession based football and be solid. The inverted full back is now causing us problems, a simple switch to a more traditional 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, would benefit us at the moment. Play Justin as a proper full back and Ricardo, Winks can still play as an 8 and N’didi return to the CDM role… KDH can be a hybrid high 8/10 with Mavididi and Fatawu as the width, with Vardy in attack. The system gives you stability at the back, which we so desperately need. We can only play that inverted role when Ricardo is fit, but, it causes us massive problems when we’re not at it, because teams simply play through us and we don’t have the pace to cope. The last few games defensively we’ve been an utter shambles. The inability or lack of want to try a more conventional approach is undoing us, Brendan used to relentlessly try the same things, even if they didn’t work, there’s no shame in occasionally deviating away from your preferred style for the benefit of the team. If we absolutely stack it and don’t make the top two and crash out of the playoffs because Enzo is just sticking by his philosophy, will people be defending Enzo then? Because I probably won’t. He’s got a massive international break, to succeed he’s got to bring Coady in, and I think he has to try more conventional methods to bring about some stability in the squad defensively. If he doesn’t, and we scrape through, there’s enough concerns for me to be worried Enzo managing us in the premier league, we simply don’t have the infrastructure to facilitate his vision, and things could get very nasty and ugly very quickly. I’m not in the know, but I have a feeling the board aren’t overly keen on Enzo anyway, and it wouldn’t surprise me even if we go up they part ways with him and look elsewhere, no evidence just a bit of a hunch from the way Enzo talks from time to time.
  5. This international break will ultimately tell us a lot about Enzo. The heat is on, Farke is an extremely capable manager at this level, and ultimately if we don’t go up, in my opinion it’s Enzo’s fault. We’ve got a better squad man for man than Leeds, but we’re on the back foot pretty much because of the way we play, which sounds ridiculous but it’s true. I maintain that a slightly more all rounded approach would have seen us close to promotion now….. But, we aren’t because when things go wrong, there aren’t enough significant changes. Coady HAS to replace Faes, and to be honest I’d have Nelson in too for Vesty. Coady’s leadership is going to be integral, we’ve got Coady, Albrighton, Kalechi all sat on the sidelines, these guys are experienced players their leadership is vital throughout these 9 games. Coady should be starting from now on, if he does, it’s clear Enzo has learnt a lesson to some degree, if he doesn’t it proves he hasn’t, and we probably won’t go up.
  6. Still maintain this was a really good performance. Hopefully we can take some confidence from this going forward after the break.
  7. Faes is in desperate need of being taken out of the team. He’s been horrible over the last few games. It’s the basic errors that are costing us, even against Chelsea he somehow gave the ball away standing still, he is very similar to Cags in his temperament and once his head has gone it’s gone. I’d definitely sell him on the summer, I reckon we could get £20-25m for him from some European team.
  8. I think it’s abundantly clear, Enzo won’t pick him ahead of Faes unless he needs a rest. Faes and Vesty will be the first two names on the teams sheet, bar injury of suspension.
  9. Definitely need a new consortium of fans to lead the foxes trust. Even if a whole new consortium of fans is formed, I think if enough of us could come together we could put together a new fans group to overhaul the foxes trust…… has anyone got a dragon?
  10. This is pure nonsense…. Anything other than 1st is a failure. Even second is only slightly acceptable. This is the most expensive squad the championship has ever seen. We have players who have no right playing at this level, it’s not arrogant, it’s an expectation, if we don’t finish in the top two, this season would have been an epic disaster, even if we managed to scrape through the play offs. Throwing away a 13 point lead over Leeds and 18 over Ipswich is unacceptable. And your point of makeshift squad isn’t true, the manager chooses to make us makeshift due to his philosophy….. I like Enzo I really do, but if Farke was our manager we’d likely be top on my opinion and probably streets ahead, where we should be.
  11. Regarding points deductions. If the premier league reduce forests eduction after appeal, it would just highlight they’ve not a clue what they’re doing. They are neither here or there and that’s just not a good lace to be, I suspect Forest will have theirs reduced to two points, which would be pointless, because Everton had theirs reduced…. At some point they’ve got to standby their decisions, at the moment they’re constantly undermining the process by making appear like they’re just making up the rules as they go along. The worst part is, when it come to us, if we do breach we will end up being the ones that they decide not to backtrack on… any team that gets punished will start to appeal, and the whole thing will just get messy. 4 points isn’t much, Forest have dropped into the relegation zone, but they are there by a point…. And if there is a time to breach, it’s now because the league is so poor….. I mean, that’s bottom six would struggle to get out of the championship it’s that bad, Forest still have a chance of surviving. It’s all just a complete mess, I standby my belief that this is the beginning of the end of the premier league in its current format.
  12. They should, but I guarantee they won’t get anything at all. It will all just “go away”.
  13. We’re likely to get 6 to 10 points then…… realistically only 6 but it seems the PL are after us so it will probably be 20 points…….
  14. Come on now, we’re likely to get docked points ourselves…..
  15. We play before Leeds, so what we could do with is a nice big away win, 4,5 or even 6, because then Leeds would have to pretty much match that to overtake us.
  16. We’ve got it in us to win 9 games in a row because we’ve done it. And to be fair it would be such a Leicester thing to do, to wobble and then go on a ridiculous run. I’m hoping and praying to for the latter…… 9 massive games from the lads, Vardy to score in all 9 and we end up breaking the record……
  17. Boro and QPR were huge losses, especially QPR. Those kind of defeats kill you. We just need a major reset over the international break, and try and find the form to get the job done. If we drop into the play offs it’s over, the psychological blow that would deal would be irreversible. What is incredibly hard to take is how quickly this has all unravelled, around Christmas we were 18 points clear of Leeds, this situation is unforgivable, and I know many try to justify the run, but it’s simply not good enough, to have a whole seasons hard work fall apart in a month. That is the major concern…… The fact we’ve beaten these teams before is irrelevant, because we’re not the same team we were before the Leeds defeat, you can tell they’re playing with fear and that’s a toxic trait they need to be rid of. If we can’t shift that mentality after this break, I think we’re there for the taking for any team in all honesty. You can’t get to this stage of the season and be doubting yourself.
  18. 1:9.
  19. @Chelmofox it’s as close as you’ll get to a good pint at home. In some cases it’s better than you’d get in an English pub!
  20. So, I’ve just caned a few cans of Guinness (nitro serge) and the Irish blood has boiled and given me a renewed sense of optimism…. So a hold prediction, we’re going to win all 9 remaining games. ProMotion wrapped up against West Brom and title against Preston. Record in the bag, this is just Enzo and the boys teasing the league.
  21. Been the worst weekend, considering I work with two Forest fans, a Villa fan a Chelsea fan and a ****ing Leeds fan. All of whom are complete bellends. So whoopie ****ing doo….
  22. It’s the fact they’re even top, when there was a 13 pint gap at one stage. Yes we’ve previously beaten these teams, but we previously beat QPR, and ended up losing to them. We’re not throwing the towel in, I will be down supporting the lads and trying to will them on to win, but you can’t ignore the concerning things that are happening, more poor goals being conceded, not enough goals being scored, we’ve gone from looking a solid side to an open one, key players misfiring and a manager who seems to not want to do what is best for the team. I’m concerned, very concerned, I just hope we can come back firing and just at least finish in the top two. There’s nothing wrong with being concerned, we’ve seen this before and our recent history suggests we’re susceptible to throwing things away.
  23. We let a double point lead slip. We were cruising and we simply fell apart. You can’t sugar coat it any other way, as soon as the business end of the season arrived, we choked…… You can’t surrender a 13 point lead and pretend nothing is wrong, the bad run has come at the wrong time, and is now likely to be fatal. The fact Leeds will be top tonight is staggering, 13 into ago people weee laughing when some of us said Leeds would eventually go above us, and they have.
  24. You can’t, but we’ve managed to toss away a massive advantage.
