  1. I do agree. Yesterday although a win, was arguably worse that our previous three games. Hopefully it boosts confidence, but it’s not ideal entering such a crucial stage of the season.
  2. Not necessarily true. Regardless of our financial constraints we’re thrice the size of clubs like Burnley, Luton and Sheff United. Winning the FA cup would do nothing for us besides satisfy the nostalgic hearts and a few fans. Not getting promotion could well put the future of this club in jeopardy…. We’re clearly not going to win it, but, I can’t for the life of me understand why fans would be happy to sacrifice promotion, which is genuinely a necessity for a trophy we’ve already won….. the FA cup (for now) isn’t going anywhere, so there’s no need to worry about it this season, this season is all about securing the future of the club by doing what’s necessary. It’s a bit like going to the doctors, and they say to you, “Karen, Peter one more cigarette will kill you, but if you don’t smoke again, the likelihood is your health will improve, and you’ll go on to live a normal life” but Karen and Peter “love a ciggy” down the local….. so to satisfy their nostalgic outlook on life, they share one last ciggy together, which subsequently ends their lives. But it was a lovely day out none the less.
  3. I think the one thing that can be said is that it was a gritty performance, which is how you need to win games at this stage of the season.
  4. For **** sake. Can we stop bullshit threads like this….. we’re not going to win the FA cup, and not getting promoted will **** us. Does that answer the question?
  5. I don’t know what the problems are. Perhaps it’s confidence? Has it taken a battering? Let’s not forget Enzo has managed less than 50 games as a head coach….. that’s not a lot of experience at all…. So he is going to hit periods where his philosophy doesn’t work, and he will have to figure out what to do to overcome this. But at this stage of the season, it really is a terrible time to have problems. Tonight, we won because Sunderland are shit let’s not beat around the bush, and even then, they had us defending like it was a cup final. We’re no longer in full control of games, but I think a massive part of that is down to losing Ricardo and Vesty, they’re a cut above at this level and they make us tick. That ability to break the press with a pass from Vesty, is something we’ve probably taken for granted, but it is back… however, Ricardo isn’t… If we can get to the international break without losing, we can regroup and reassess ready for the last push, but as it stands, I’m not 100% convinced Enzo will get things right tactically to keep us first…. Perhaps the pressure has got to him a bit? I don’t know, it’s going to be a painful last portion of the season that’s for sure.
  6. Depends which version of us turns up.
  7. I mean, it was a horrific performance against an absolutely dreadful team, to the point we were hanging on…… I don’t want Enzo gone, of course…. But I’m really struggling not to have some real concerns about how we’re going about things. Perhaps it’s as simple as no Ricardo? He’s a massive miss…. Or, have things just gone a little bit by the way side. We just seem to be playing with no pace at all, and things are getting a bit…… Brendan ball at times. A massive improvement is needed for Hull, Enzo needs to learn a lot about himself and quickly.
  8. Would be interesting to see how many of their goals would stand with VAR…. That said. Their attitude is commendable… and we’ve just watched us amble around a the pitch with zero pace, press or intensity of any kind. God knows what happens in this race, but it’s wide open.
  9. I mean, we tried our best to **** it up.
  10. **** off Ipswich for the love of ****.
  11. 3 points we needed. Defensively for about 80 minutes okay, but that’s about it. Offensively we’re pretty ordinary at the moment, everything is far too slow and flat. Major improvement needed for Hull, but that could be a confidence booster. Not convinced though.
  12. Why can’t we score more than a goal? Is it tactical or nerves?
  13. Happy with this.
  14. Kasper Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Kante Albrighton Vardy Okazaki
  15. Personally, I’d drop Mavididi….. he’s been shit recently and I think he’s liability when he’s having a bad game. Albrighton on the right and Fatawu on the left, bit of an old school approach.
  16. Feeling Vardy will be on fire tonight. Come on you blue ****ers, let’s get the job done….
  17. Brian is in charge, and so is his wife.
  18. Also, how have Villa not been looked at? They’ve spent a colossal amount of money since they returned to the PL haven’t they?
  19. If Forest can get away with it because of their poxy mitigation claim, the whole thing should just be scrapped.
  20. Yea, they had Vardy coming into his prime. Plus they had the grit required to get the job done.
  21. I’ve been negative, but that’s born out of my irrational passion for this club. But seriously threads like this aren’t helpful. We’re fuelling pessimism and this will only carry over to games and end up becoming part of our culture. We need to knock this on the head, and try and find that atmosphere we had that pushed us to win the premier league. Let’s drop being a bunch of fúckwits, and I include myself in that…. We need to push the lads over the line, starting on Tuesday…….
  22. I don’t know. This club has nearly destroyed me because of hope. Supporting Leicester is probably as harmful as being a heroin addict.
  23. Being naive is wonderful.
  24. This is it, you could script what’s going to happen. It’s so obvious…….
