It’s why you bring in players like Coady, to stop that from happening. -
Respectfully disagree. KDH is a far, far better player than King. He is a bit inconsistent but once Enzo has properly got into him, he will piss the rest of this league. He’s being asked to play a slightly different role to normal which he is still adapting to.

Spot on. Its becoming more apparent that last season was Brendan’s doing. The bulk of this squad is still a premier league squad. -

Preston were shit. Worst team I’ve seen at the KP for years…… -
It pains me to say it, and I’ll have to jump in the shower after, but take Forest out of the equation, and Nottingham is one of my favourite cities…. Architecturally, it’s lovely, got some fantastic coffee houses and great places to grab a beer. It’s a fallacy to life that Forest are there…. The fans of Forest are next level though, they’re definitely more deluded than Liverpool fans….

I’m wondering if this game will be better suited for this team. Mads Faes Coady Justin Hamza Winks Ricardo Akgun KDH Mavididi Kalechi I’m thinking keep Ricardo in but on the right, and slot Akgun in to the high 8. If it’s going to be a tight game we will need players who are better in tight spaces, better first touch and ability to beat a player with little grass in front of them. Also, N’didi for as good as he’s been will only frustrate I think because he isn’t quite good enough on the ball, Akgun could be ideal hear as he’s more agile and arguably better on the ball.

Preston, Blackburn, Bolton and Burnley are the most depressing places I’ve ever visited.

West Brom are ones to keep an eye on for me. I can see them gaining momentum as the season goes on. They look like a powerful side albeit inconsistent.

Tomorrow is our 10th league match of the season. That’s why it looks like we’ve not got out of second gear. There’s no point over analysing anything, Maresca is picking a team that’s capable of winning games whilst developing a style of football. To be honest, at the moment I couldn’t care less how we play, the score is more important.
-
That’s unfair. Yes our squad is head and shoulders above the rest, but so were Newcastles, and West Ham’s when they came down, and probably Fulham’s more recently, and we’ve started better than most of those teams did. But, what is impressive is that Enzo has immediately got the entire club singing from his hymn sheet. It’s a million miles away from where it needs to be, and we’re still winning games of football, and scoring plenty of goals. Enzo’s vision is exactly what this club needed, if this season so far is anything to go by, imagine what kind of team he could put together with a bigger budget and better market to work in.

Fulham are dreadful. I think there’s a lot of this type of football in the premier league especially…. Something we saw in Rodgers downfall, just unimaginative football with passing for passing sake. They will likely be down there this season. Another nothing team, with nothing really about them.

Pathetic. He is an unreal goalkeeper….. is it is fault, or was it the team not doing their jobs? As some of us said Winks had an iffy game today. Mads is absolutely quality, his shot stopping it ridiculously good, like any goalkeeper who likes to play he will make mistakes, but it’s a team game. I think he will go on to become one of the best keepers in the world. Lad pisses gold on my opinion. Absolute fanboy.

Is it? I would suggest Norwich were the toughest test.
-
I think Brentford could be the third team to go down. They don’t look very good at all.
-
Everything about that club is weird….. They’ve got Jabba the Hutt as an owner, and sloth as a manager….. the fans may as well turn up in their pants, they’re ****ing clueless. It’s a fallacy to football that they’re in the premier league…. Makes me sick.
-
KDH needed that.

Yannick MOTM. Colossus today.

I wouldn’t say so no. Blackburn deserve credit because they’ve made life difficult for us. What we have done well is slow the game down well and stop Blackburn from turning it isn’t a basketball match. What we’ve been guilty of today is untidiness. We’ve been sloppy in possession and have been making poor decisions.
