Sunderland are throwing some serious cash around. If the right bid comes in, he will go. I can see him wanting to leave too if a bid is put in, especially with a World Cup on the horizon. As much as I rate Abdul, and I think his inconsistency has been largely thanks for Marti’s deplorable tactics….. if we get anything close to £30m we have to take it, his injury places him at risk for me…. Only problem is, it will finish us, because we won’t reinvest it in this window, so losing him could be fatal for us.

I couldn’t agree with you any more! Absolutely spot on. Sone fans just seething very black and white. If Fatawu’s form deemed as “blowing hot and cold” whereas I see it as, a player not being played to their strengths. None of our attacking players are….. some of the more experienced ones like Bobby seem to be doing okay, but that will be more down to his experience as a pro over what Marti is doing. Top to bottom the whole lot is rotten. For us to have any success in this current set up, we need an outstanding coach. We haven’t had that since Enzo left, so the rot has not firmly set in on the pitch too. None of our young players have improved. I’d say there’s been self development with the likes of Page…. But no one has improved, but a lot of regressed. Nothing will improve as long as things stay like this. We are doing exactly what landed us in this mess, clinging onto hope, hope that things will tie a corner but they never will. We will win a couple of scrappy games, and then he panned for a couple of games. Poor leadership, poor coach, no plans on or off the pitch… we’re just drifting and it’s such a dangerous place to be… especially with a potential points deduction on the horizon. -

It’s okay Leicester fan TV are going to ask where all the money has gone, that’ll learn em I’m sure! -
I think this is a bit of misinformation….. wasn’t it confirmed from the QPR journalist that he didn’t buy himself out of his contract…… he was placed on gardening leave and eventually allowed to leave. I’m pretty sure we paid compensation for him. Anyway, we can afford to sack him, we just won’t until we know what’s happening with PSR…… because we think that if we don’t spend any money, or make any rash financial decisions, it might work in our favour……

@BrilliantFox Os absolutely spot on with what he says. Success and a sinking ship seldom go hand in hand. Enzo squeezed the last bit of that out of the club…. Since then we simply have been able to generate the same atmosphere, because finally the years of mistakes and bad decisions have finally caught up on the field. When you’re deciding not to invest through choice because of your terrible decision making, then it’s only ever going to end one way. Whatever her part in the decline, it cannot be denied that Susan Whelan was exceptional at her front facing customer relations work. She at least added some little value to the club, and that’s now gone. We’re now left with an absent owner, a DOF completely out of their depth, and a clueless manager. Each area isolated from the other….. Steve cooper spoke of alignment, which I find incredibly hard to believe…… You can’t build a successful operation if the foundations are fractured…….. -

We have regressed massively since then. We are mentally fragile, and we can’t stand up to proper aggression. If Frank has anything about him he will watch how easily Sheffield United turned us inside out with very little difficulty. The key to beating us quickly, is to just let us have the ball and relentlessly press the back four, none are comfortable on the ball bar Nelson or Ricardo, and Nelson can crumble under pressure and Ricardo is a shadow of the player he once was. Then focus all of your energy attacking Thomas, he’s ****ing dog shit, and I would probably do a better job at LB than him. Also, as good as James has been, he leaves Skipp by himself, so he just ends up having to try and protect the back four himself. The last few games have been nothing but red herrings for me, you’ll comfortably take us to pieces. -
Andre Garcia from Reading. Very highly rated young left back.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi Is allegedly wanting to take over an English club. He did make enquiries into West Ham. Might slide into his DM’s…. Put the stink out see if he gags. -

To be fair, reading into the current state of King Power, it may not be beyond the realms of possibility that Top is actually seeking to sell the club, but isn’t being open about it. King Power appears to be in a mess, so surely clinging onto the club isn’t going to help for Top? -

Agreed. Only other way out of it, is someone approached Top with an offer he can’t refuse…. But who in their right mind would? But then again, if Birmingham City can attract someone, surely we still have some pull? -

Stand by my opinion we will end up in administration. Like I said above, it was my understanding Top didn’t put money into the club anyway, but, I do believe King Power as a group are distancing themselves from the club, mainly due to their own problems. But I can see us tying ourselves in knots with these loans. I certainly don’t see us doing any transfer business this season, and it could spill into next, unless we get a couple of big sales…. The writings on the wall, Top’s position has been untenable for some time, but more so than ever is it now. Things are only going to get worse and worse, and the only way we will be rid of Top is administration, and it simply can’t get to that stage because we will be right up shit creek. Other than some academy players, I don’t think there’s anything remotely positive about this football club at the moment. We’re treading water in tar…… -

Top doesn’t put cash into the club anyway does he? As far as I’m aware he never has. He’s moved money around but he’s doesn’t inject money into the club does he? -
Stengs has recently made a move

I agree, I can’t see anyone coming in, we’ve essentially placed ourselves on an embargo, and it will be for appearances sake more than anything. And still, some will back Top and Rudkin? When we’re in such a mess.

Out of all the painful afternoons we’ve endured, from Swindon, to Watford to Cardiff, this will probably be one of the most painful afternoons in our history. Because it will truly be a signal of how far we’ve fallen…… -
Yep. I will never forgive the way he downed tools towards the end of his spell here. That game V Arsenal (or at least I think it was Arsenal) when he just ****ing gave up running back, purely because he couldn’t be ****ing arsed, and they scored Great player on his day…. fantastic goal to win the FA cup, but once he lost interest, he lost interest, he was unforgivable the season we went down, one of the many key reasons too thanks to his complete lack of effort and care.
