This essentially is what it all comes down to. Top’s ability and or desire to inject a lot of money into the club. Next season, a lot of the problems can be fixed, but the biggest issue is, we lose £50m before a wage is paid, the kind of money Top would have to put into the club to allow us to properly reset would need to be considerable.

This is it isn’t it. In a way, financially if IF we play our cards right we can have a bit of a reset, and there’s no reason we can’t significantly improve the books, as well as rebuild the team. Rather than wallowing in self pity, if Top and King power genuinely want to turn this around, he’s got no choice but to gather his legal and finance teams and figure out how to get around the SCMP.

Funnily enough it’s all come from Villa, Everton, Forest and unsurprisingly Cov fans. One of them came in with one of those M69 up and down T-shirts on, and a Villa fan put a Cov flag in the office…. Which is very sad. There’s no point having the debate with them anyway, they talk about us as if we never won the league, and the reality is, we’ve had more money pass through our club than any of them have. The only saving grace is I will enjoy watching Cov get battered every week.

Whats the point in selling it? It’s the one thing that may help produce the right talent to build a young team.

I think the only answer is Top plows money into the club, creating revenue… My understanding is he can do this, but our wage bill needs to be absolutely slashed. Essentially our situation resolved this was because of the unique financial rules of L1 it’s there to be exploited. As Birmingham and Wrexham did. But, can he afford to do this?

I hate things like this. You can’t predict because the market is activated when the club is advertised for sale. All I’ll say is, I think someone fairly lucrative would. Our story, is a fantastic poster for any business/consortium, that’s the unique difference between us and anyone else.

Unfortunately I’m not calm, nor am I rational, and I use the word cųnt far too much, but I’m fully aware that I’m a cųnt myself, so I’m at peace with it. Plus if I say something hurty to someone, I’m more than happy for someone to say something hurty back.

It’s not new, it’s a completely different scenario. That Leicester city and this current Leicester city are two different clubs. The fact is, we really should not be in this position, it’s all well and good saying “we are where we are”, but this shouldn’t be happening. The financial gain this club has had over the last decade, is only bettered by the traditional big six, the fact we’re now back in league one is unfathomable…. It shouldn’t be happening…. As it’s been said a few times, it’s essentially like winning the jackpot on the euro millions, and a few years later being bust… What separates the two, is the last one was expected and acceptable given the era of the club, this really isn’t, we’re in this position through sheer incompetence, and absolutely shoddy financial mismanagement. The biggest difference is this time we’re going down with ridiculous financial baggage, we are still operating financially as a top half premier league side, in a league where the TV revenue mine isn’t worth it. So, this is why a lot of us are so angry, we should be in this situation, it’s completely self inflicted, so, it’s something I certainly don’t accept, and many others don’t. The nastiness for which I have been guilty of, so will admit that, is down to frustration, frustration that not every fan is protesting outside the king power. We brought Leicester to a stand still when we won the premier league, we should be doing the same now to save the club.

The piss taking started this morning in the office, so I’ve found the perfect remedy for anyone who is subjected to such piss taking, especially from fans of clubs who have never won the premier league. Call them a cųnt. For some reason HR aren’t too happy, but can’t have it all, and it soon shuts them up.

It is. Football across the world is on its arse….. it’s the worst it’s ever been both on and off the pitch since the “modern game” was birthed. It peaked in the 90’ and 00’s and ever since then it’s just gradually declined into whatever shit it is now. Off the pitch there’s even more corruption than before, with the elite getting away with anything, and clubs like us being hammered for probably lesser mistakes. Man City should’ve playing EFL football now, and since their charges a number of “lesser” clubs have been punished. Even on the pitch is worse, where are those individual world class players gone? Those that were clearly head and shoulders above the rest? I’m thankful for the era of the game I grew up in, the whole package was better, the football, the players, and even the big clubs had more about them than they do now. I’m fast losing interest in it, how many “good” games do we actually see? Even things like match of the day, I’ve not bothered with it for years, even when we were in the PL, because it’s shit. Football is generally not in a good place, who knows what the next thing is…… a closed shop international super league? I don’t think it’s as far fetched as some think.

To be fair at least he came over, at the very least that’s something commendable. He stood in the face of angry fans and took it, sometimes that’s all that’s needed in events like this.

Because they’re not supporters, they’re sheep who are clearly not interested about the longevity of the club. What other answer is there if you’re willing to clap and cheer this?

Yes… but again, completely missing the point. You can’t compare anyone to us, because we’re like no other. How many ways can this be said, NO TEAM HAS EVER GONE INTO LEAGUE 1 WITH OUR OVERHEADS. Our position is utterly catastrophic. The only remedy is new ownership, and unless that happens now, we are ****ed. That’s the reality.

I don’t think I will see Leicester play in the premier league again….. all I can see is us rotting in the lower echelons of the football pyramid, until someone buys us, or we go bust….
