I hate to say it, but at this stage Faes is better.

I actually don’t mind this. Would be foolish to throw all of the new signings in immediately incase it doesn’t click. But it means we’ve got some quality to bring on late in the game.

Thought defensively Seahawks were okay. Kupp and Darnold disappointed, but I’m not expecting a huge amount from either this season. Don’t see Darnold as an upgrade to Geno. Silly mistakes like fumbling your final play won’t help. I think it’s a shake of things to come this season, inconsistent, we will take points off some of the bigger franchises, but will also get beaten a fair few times too.

He looked untouchable at times, went from tearing through the Bills defence like it was wet paper, to fumbling like his hands are made of wet paper. Still, Ravens are such a dangerous team, Lamar and Henry will cause some chaos this year…. Thank **** both are in my fantasy team 😂

Jesus….. I mean it’s huge isn’t it? In some respect it’s got a better following than the NFL. The Darrell K is a sight to behold…. It’s huge beyond words how big it is. Gutted I didn’t get to see a game but I intend to go back and watch a game there!

I’ve been following the longhorns ever since I visited their campus for a swim meet. It just blows my mind how much these colleges invest into their sports. When you consider Loughborough is one of only a couple of sporting excellence facilities and that looks like a nursery in comparison.

Alves just needed to get out and play a whole season somewhere. He’s a talented lad who’s suffered a horrible injury, that can end careers at that age. He’s struggled since he got back, but I think this loan will do him the world of good. Help him to refund his feet, confidence and really kick on.

Got to be careful with Monga though. Still needs easing in.

Asked my blue nose mate about him, he really rates him. Says he was easily their best player along side Stansfield that season. Said he’s got maturity beyond his years, energetic, tidy and has a decent shot on him. He said he’s a lot like KDH, very similar profile, with probably slightly better technical ability. Watching him, I’d say he’s definitely cut from the same cloth as KDH. He also said he’s got a good attitude too, when even when they were losing games and in the pits he would always give 100, and never once moped around sulking.

The fact he hasn’t been left out all together would suggest that he’s behaving in training. Unlike Bilal. Marti will likely sit him down with Faes and have a chat with them. It would benefit them to work their arses off, as they could always leave in January.

I think Faes will be worked back in, and Winks. If those two come back in, and the three new lads hit the ground running, this team is more than capable of being top two.
