But we paid £25m for Skipp?
-
Is this the transfer talk section or a living nightmare?
-
What are we ****ing playing at?

It makes you sick. Considering our achievements we’ve not managed to establish a proper backroom? A proper scouting network a proper model, evidence of a plan? It’s pathetic, absolutely pathetic…… and no doubt it will be all celebrations and bum slaps in the shower in the board room when they’ve managed to sell all of our key assets and not manage to bring anyone in…….

Watford Signed Papy Mendy? Thats a signing and a half at this level.

We’re a bunch of overly hormonal middle aged men, who worry about everything, including Birmingham City. -
I’ve been told that even the laundrette has chucked their towel in.

What concerns me, is they’re very good at winning the ball back from a high press, and were exceptionally bad at retaining possession and defending the transition. I just can’t see us coping with them. They’re good at everything we’re really bad at, couple that with us being on our arse and them being sky high, it’s going to make for a very uncomfortable evening. -
100k a week for him is madness….. for a lad who’s essentially a top end championship player.

Victor Kristiansen (an option for Forest, Percy.)

Bernth? What is that? -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

I’m not bothering trying to keep up with all of this. I’ll check back on the evening of the 1st and see what’s what. -
I really like him, I am slightly disappointed we haven’t seen more of him, he’s got so much potential and was always the stand out in the academy along with Monga. I’d say he was better than Chilwell at this age, and Chilwell took the piss himself at academy level. Like @Ric Flair said an injury should present an opportunity for him, but he’s better than Thomas already which is why I’m disappointed he hasn’t been given a chance over him yet.

Sorry dad 😢

People need to remember being a footballer isn’t an ordinary job. So, for me it’s just comparable to an “ordinary job” a lot of people can and do **** about at work, make poor decisions and what not and usually get away with it. Winks is in a privileged role, he gets paid a lot of money to do what he does, and when you’re a professional footballer you represent the club, city and the fans. Whereas this may not be what he’s bothered about, whilst you play for this club, you represent it properly. Winks has completely disrespected the fans and the club. His behaviour has been deplorable, the night club shenanigans was a disgrace, there’s no defending that at all. Winks is most definitely a toxic character, one that we don’t need in the dressing room. He’s our best midfielder, but he’s downed tools and isn’t interested anymore, and not getting a move on deadline day won’t change that either. I don’t want to see him plant for this club again.
-
He won’t leave. Who is going to want him? He maybe a good player but behaving like he has done gets noticed. He is in the last year of his contract, his behaviour has been deplorable, and he’s on big wages. Best he can hope for is a deadline day loan, probably to someone like Leeds, which he won’t want. He’s made his bed, I’d cut his wages and shove him in the U21. Surely his behaviour is a level misconduct? Then punish him.

One positive is they may come at us, so that will naturally leave space for us to exploit, we need to play with come conviction and pace and we can certainly have them. If we play to our full capacity, we should be rolling most teams over in this league, but therein lies our issue, we don’t at the moment. -
To be fair, this wouldn’t be my choice. I can’t see him being prolific.

No chance in hell West Ham cough up £35m for him. Not with it looking like they’re going to fail again this season. -

On the flip side he’s also told media in Morocco that he is happy to help us get back up. -

Are we a charity? How anyone could actually sign him is laughable. -
Disagree, Page would have learned a lot from his start. Did what I expected of a 17 year old lad and didn’t disgrace himself.
-
The league have no input one transfer or registration business if you’re not under an embargo. The lack of incomings is entirely down to us, it is a decision the board have made, to move X amount of players out before bringing any in. This current situation has nothing to directly do with the EFL, yes they’re likely watching what we’re doing, but this is very much a decision the club have made themselves
-
It’s not true. The EFL HAVE to publish any embargo’s imposed… if they’ve done this without following the correct procedures then we can hang them out to dry legally… again. Nixon is a wind up merchant and nothing more. He’s wholly inaccurate and rarely gets anything right.
