FA Cup Fourth Round Draw (Monday 7:50pm)
Foxin_Mad replied to LCFCJoe96's topic in Leicester City Forum
You just know the muppets at the club will make this category A* £45 a ticket. -
The football that Cooper plays is absolute atrocious tbh, Forest were absolutely rancid to watch last season and most of this year. Seems a bit of a change from a supposedly 'modern' expansive style under Rooney. In a way he should have been give more time, it was either a project or not.
-
Seems a confidence player so hope it keeps growing. On his day I think he's better than Barnes.
-
Thought he was steady today, not exceptional but not terrible, did most things well.
-
Lad needs a song now!
-
If it wasn't for Union FS just a few idiots making 'sassshhhhhh' noises. Every other miserable git is in a hurry to go sit in their car.
-
It's no bother if we keep winning! If they draw!
-
I don't understand our fans. There are some who make ssssh noises when it's quiet, instead of making ssssh noises why not sing? Utterly weird. Probably the same people in hurry to get back to their SUV and sit in traffic slightly earlier!
-
We are so bizarre, we don't really deserve it, we've been awful but 2-0 you can't argue. I guess the extra quality shows in the end.
-
If we keep playing like this equaliser soon.
-
This is an absolutely rancid watch as per. Those with a bad stream consider yourself lucky. I might get with 15 minutes left and walk the long way to my car!

I dont think a proper capitalist would want to see the state making investment or bailing them out. If a capitalist company fails to ivest in will be left behind, if it fails to modernise it will be left behind, if it is run badly it will fail. Capitalists accept that no intervention is needed. Its not the states job to invest in or support private companies in a proper capitalist system. In a real capitalist system the state wouldn't be that big to have so much say. Like why are the UK government building EDF a power station? If the UK Government build it they should run it and take the profits not EDF.
-
It's not really Capitalism it's some kind of weird bastardised mess. In proper Capitalism non payment is tough luck, failure of a company is tough luck. In the UK utilities sector, the taxpayer is expected to provide the investment in infrastructure, the taxpayer provides bailouts when companies fail and the shareholders creams profits and leverages debt against any infrastructure! It's absolutely batshit bonkers!

Daka contributes 10 times more, think Nacho may have checked out. Take 10 mil in January, good luck to the lad.
-
I'm sick of Nacho to be honest. Ain't no way we get most points ever.
-
Daka has performed no worse than Vardy or Nacho and had 3 games, I still think he needs a decent run before he can be judged. Vardy and Nacho have largely been rancid all season.

The Golf R-Line is a very nice car, my only bug bear was the LED light thing on the front, but guess thats a love or hate kind of thing!! My personal preference is always gonna be a hatchback so please some are still buying them over SUVs, they are so much better to drive IMO. Most modern engines are or can be a nightmare to be honest. There are issues with TSI engines in some VWs, some models also use wet belts, some noisey/loose chains same with Stelantis 1.2 engines. Earlier Corsas with a GM engine tend to suffer with loose timing chains which is at best noisey. I did a lot of research into the last car I brought, was hard to find an engine I was happy with. In the end I got an end of line GM 1.4T in an Astra SRI, which arent without issues but later ones seem reasonable! Next time I swap in a few years im troubled as unless the Ecoboost is fixed no Focus and the 1.2 Astra appears to be a wetbelt, not sure where I will go! Just the quality of the things these days is poor, they look plastic and rubbish and quite often are. I think if you HP a car and move it on after 2 or 3 years, thats the best plan, get one with a service plan if possible. Cars have come far yet at the same time not. I remember old choke cars and driving a car with 60k on the clock that would feel knackered. I dont understand the move towards screens for everything, I get sat nav, maybe AV nice but heating nooooooo. In 5-10 years when the screen breaks, which it will it almost writes off the car. All this talk of stuff being 'green' with such build in obselesence is a complete con.

I wasnt aware they had redesigned them to be honest. Kind of an admission of failure from Ford I feel. If you have had the Fiesta since new and its been well looked after it might be worth getting the belt inspected, once they go they go ins tyle. Ive seen numerous issues on the 1.0 ecoboosts, overheating problems initially (faulty coolant res and pipes), a lot of faults have had redesigns etc, the later Focus's just have oil presure problems which eventually destroys the engine. When they work they are good engines

Not sure I agree, the German supermarkets have seen markups on some own label products of 300-400% in this last year, whilst profits have been booming. Its largely unjustified. I simply dont believe their costs have increased that much, in fact I know they havent! For the terrible quality of some of the stuff (fresh fruit and veg and meat) compared to Tesco/Sainsburys, I am tempted to stop using them completely as they have lost any real benefit now. https://www.retailgazette.co.uk/blog/2022/12/supermarket-price-rises/
-
Good but stay well clear of the Ecoboost 1.0 unless you want to change the stupid wet belt every 30000k and/or clear out the oil system. Its probably a 1k job and needs to be done more often than Ford say even if you use the correct grades of oil/intervals like Ford say

Wilf needs to be careful. He has shown that under a doggo manager like Brenda he can become absolutely rubbish. Enzo has brought out the best in him, now is potentially a good time to continue to evolution.
-
This is pretty much it. The authorities dont want it to be any different. Thats said a lot of the songs sang in the Kop are too long winded for many to get behind, stick to the old classics like Blue Army, etc more join in. These new songs are not quite as catchy as well meaning as they maybe. Maybe keep it simple is the key instead of songs with many verses. There is also the parts where Doris get offended by people using the f-word etc. Lets face it, nothing is as good as it was.
-
Tbh he shite, but to be honest when you are persistently tarting around with it at the back there is no hope for any attacking player. To be honest I don't get this insistence to pass it out, why? You have to be technically very good, we aren't.
-
If WBA don't win this 2 or 3 nill I will be amazed, we are shite same old same old predictable sideways at the back bilge, getting fed up of it now.
-
Enzo needs to be careful - the dangerous spiral

Its more the performances that bother me. We hvaent really looked good once. All teams have bad results, even bad spells but our performances in general have been mediocre at best. There a far better sides in this division, probably 4 or 5.
