To be honest it will be a long long time before this club is anywhere near the Premier League again. I very much doubt that there will be a struggle to get tickets anytime soon.

Quite a lot has changed, do you actually watch every game? To say there hasn't been some improvement of performance since he has come in is just not what the eyes are showing. Ok I agree the results could be better but performance wise there is a better trend, it takes time to revert the absolute rot of the last 9 months+. We need to begin to convert performances to points absolutely. Its a managers job to do that, he knew the situation when he came in. The situation in August was considerably better than the one he left us in! He did nothing to improve anything. Again there is probably 1 or 2 games under his tenure I could say we were worthy of a win. Why are people sticking up for him, he was evidently an out of his depth shit clown who never should have got the job, but he factually left us in a worse position than he found us. People make excuses for him but his atrocious style and inability to do football basics like defend or run were his biggest failures. If anything he has ruined or set back at best some of the younger players, throwing them in to games with terrible performances, no support from senior players and negative incoherent tactics. He managed them poorly with little direction and now a lot of them look very low on confidence and need careful man management to come back.

You also have to take into account he is trying to turn around a demoralised, out of form, low in confidence team. That's a totally different starting point from taking over in preseason and throughout that season performances getting worse and worse, conceding goals for fun. Hes been brought in to do a rescue job of a team that is a mess. I don't really care about lucky points per game stats, that were not deserved. I've watched every game we have largely been horrific, to the point I absolutely dreaded the next game. By measure of its not quite that bad now, there has been an improvement. Of course the Jury is still out on Rowett but there is absolutely no defence of Cifuentes. He is undoubtably one of the worst managers that we have had, absolutely woeful. there was absolutely nothing good about anything he did, the football was mind numbingly bad, the defending atrocious, the fitness abysmal, pretty much every player regressed even further under him. We were going only one place under him, it maybe too late to turn it around but we had to try something as he had no skill to turn it around.

We havent even won that many games, but the Spanish fellow should have done better, well if he was a semi competent manager, which he wasn't. A big problem is idiots keep employing idiots, but this gutless pathetic style we have insisted on doesn't help. I think theres probably been a few games, in this division with this squad its indefensible really. Ill never be convinced that the Marti fellow was any good, because he wasn't!

He was on a massive downward trajectory. Honestly I have never seen a team so badly coached, awful, getting worse week on week. He picked up a few lucky wins thanks from moments of quality from Abdul and James. He was a shit manager, and he was taking us down. I invite people to list the number of games won under the useless shit that we actually deserved to win and looked better than the opposition, I count 2 at best.

Which proves the point, The Spanish fellow made us WORSE! He started off with Kings preseason, slowly but surely he injected utter shit into every aspect, to the point we lost to Oxford. He deserved very few of the wins she did get, maybe 2 at best. Again you cant compare a bloke who was brough in to save a sinking ship unable to keep a clean sheet after months of rot with someone who was in at the start of the fresh season. We have improved generally if you actually watch the games, we were utterly unwatchable under that Marti fellow.

I don't see how anyone who has actually watched the utter incoherent sideways and backwards shit his teams served up, could defend him. Honestly 6 points were maybe deserved, the rest very very lucky.

I am not having that any manager is worse than that Marti Clown, he is the worst manager this club as ever had. He has managed to get the most expensive squad to be in the bottom 3, thats some achievement of shitness. I dont understand why people are still trying to defend that pathetic diatribe that he was serving up week on week. There is at best 2 games when he was in charge that we deserved to win, other than that pure luck. At least now the performances are mildly better. Its irrelevant comparing a guy who had most the season to utterly destroy any element of quality the club had with a guy who has been brought in to try and bail out the sinking Titanic.

Seriously look at the resources difference between us and Oxford, they have been punching above their weight in reality, they will struggle. They still outclassed us at home under Cifuentes . He was utter crap, dogshit, the biggest clown ever to manage this club.

its fairly straight forward, King took pre-season, we had a few games where we looked reasonable in pre-season. The useless fellow came in, started to implement his regime as you would expect, fitness began to drop off, game by game we got worse, our running stats got worse, everything got worse under him, to the point at which Oxford outclassed us at home. It was only going one way from there, he had no ability to change that. He had no ability to stop us getting thumped at Sheff Utd or QPR away either. The home game against Sheff Utd was also atrocious. In fact under him we probably actually deserved to win 1 maybe 2 games at best, the rest he was bailed out by excellence from James or Abdul. Constant passing out from the back with a keeper whos confidence was shot, to defenders who's confidence was shot, it wasn't working. If he had had the full pre-season we would have been in the bottom 3 long before now IMO This team needs a lot of work to pull it back to the required levels and get it on track, I think King started that with the first half performance against Saints. Rowett already got 2 clean sheets. The game against Watford is probably the first game in a while where I have felt we probably deserved more that the result we got. Rowett isn't the best manager, probably would never have been my choice, but we are where we are and this is our level. I think I would much rather have him over that Marti fraud, he wasn't a football manager that should ever have been given a job here, and he most certainly needed to go, probably long before he did. .

That might be a good ending, in off his arse against Blackburn. To be fair to Daka, hes not as hateful as Ayew.

Great to see Rudkins strategic development for excellence and long term success of the football operations is really paying off. Where did they find this manager? A park?

This is my point though we started off more strongly because of the work King did preseason, as Shituentes got his feet under the table we became worse game on game, month on month. Again the PPG he benefited from us not being 'as shit' at the start than we were after several months of his shit tactics, shit 'coaching' and general shitness churning out the same interviews. What was his PPG towards the end of his shit tenure? He was a useless shit, there is nothing that can prove anything other than that. He was way out of his depth, he will be the reason we go down and he rightfully should be considered one of the worst managers we have ever had. He did not improve one little thing during his time here, not one.

Im hoping the break can give a bit of time to get them fully up to the levels he expects for the next games. It would be nice maybe if we could play maybe Ramsey upfront? go to be worth a go. If we can Keep it tight and keep Jemal fit, maybe with Vestergaard back too. I hope you are correct, it would be nice to try and build up a bit of momentum.

By not giving Shituentes more time to inflict his utter rot tactics, style, fitness and morale demolition on the squad. He should have been got rid of after Sheff Utd, it was evident he was a first rate clown, out of his depth, despite the issues at the club, hes made it worse

Fitness isn’t something you can improve overnight. The biggest hilarity is that some people try to make a justification for keeping Shituentes on when he’s probably been one of these shitest managers we ever had. Not one player or one stat go better under that clown

For quite a long period of time this club has created very few chances for any striker, we don’t get the ball into dangerous positions often enough. I don’t think the toss style of play helps our strikers at all, it’s clear his confidence is very low, when we do create the odd chance he’s more under pressure than ever to bury it, which probably makes it all worse. I do agree largely someone on his money that the club has supposedly scouted should be better than he is but I’m not convinced many strikers would do well here at present.,

The big problem is we have played this horrible tippy tappy style for the best part of 5 years, we have not created a lot of chances for strikers at all. Vardy would go hunting. Obviously he needs to do better but it’s a combination of factors and his confidence is now gone.,

Shituentes was given a boost by having a reasonable start based on the work King did imo. As the months went on our record got worse and worse under him, he was a terrible manager l, probably the worst we have ever had in my opinion.

We need to try something else up top. Anything at this stage
