I’m not sure why the game plan is ever to defend when it’s blatant that we can not defend for shite. Any half competent manager ought to win promotion from this division. Hence Scott Parker, Martin etc having relative success. Anyone who doesn’t achieve in this league of misfits is really really bad

I don't think most fans mind technical football, if it wins you football games and has some semblance of entertainment. It would also be great if a manager could adapt tactically and be pragmatic to whatever game is in front of them and what tools they have instead of being wedded to a philosophy and formation that's clearly not working. For example Martis football was technically shite, the weirdest thing is having all this passing when no one in the team moves to break the lines, its so easy to defend against.

With all due respect these idiots are paid a ridiculous amount of money per week to play a game. To be honest fans don't mind the odd mistake, the issue is just the general lack of effort from some of the senior pros in quite a large number of our games. Now I can be pretty certain that if this squad of players go out and run and press for 90 minutes each game, they wont be anywhere near the bottom 3. Being nervous doesn't stop them trying. Take a player like Jordan James, no one can say he hasnt given his all, the fans can see that, fans will respond to what they get off the players, the bare minimum of effort, mistakes or not being good enough are acceptable if thats where we are, but not trying is unforgivable.

No, nothing could be that bad, he was an utter useless fraud. Every game he was in charge we were getting worse. At least the last 2 games the players seem to have been running a bit more. Cifuentes was out of his depth and should have never been given the role.

I think we have to sink to a low before we can begin to rebuild, it will clear out the crap and possibly the ownership. At the end of the day it might be the start of getting the club back because at the minute it is a clueless rich kid play thingy. We have no identity, no clue, nothing is going to happen to change that if we drift around or even fluke back up. Out of interest is the FFP is League 1 and 2 as strict? Just I seems to remember Birmingham and Wrexham having to tone their spending down a bit after promotion. So league 1 might given us a few years to sort our mess out.

The club is a shambles. Its really not surprising the way they are with the general culture. I am sure there are some good people who work there. but the senior positions seem to be filled by people who have been overpromoted.

What happens when the club sign defenders based on how good they are at passing it sideways, instead of signing actual defenders who smack it out and command their area, hit the opposition hard. I think finally we have recognised this with Lascelles, I fear it could be too late.

To be honest so far this season there isnt one game where id honestly say we have fully deserved to win. That is a big problem. Under Marti we were getting worse week on week, we need to stop that rot.

All you can say for him is he has something to prove, so that might be a good thing if hes got the steel to actually prove people wrong. Sadly none of our other players do.

These losers probably aren't going to listen to anyone in fairness, they think they've made it because they play at a 5* all inclusive resort. They then forget that occasionally you have to win a football match.

The big names thing is a concern, I mean any player with an ego is going to struggle taking orders off of someone they have never heard of, hes never really achieved much so hes pretty easy to question. Big Ego players need big names which is why is pretty stupid signing these tippy tappy types, because they believe they are prime ballers even though we all know they aren't. The only small benefit would be if its on an interim we can sack him when we inevitably end up in League 1.

Not really because he’s dealing with overrated overpaid halfwits exactly as he failed with at Stoke, he went mad and started talking in the 3rd person. He’s done nothing to suggest he would be a good appointment, everything about him is pretty rancid, he’s a small club man.
