He's not finished yet! Genuinely League 2 is a real possibility, a lot of our support is deluded as the owner and think even if we dropped to League 1 we would come straight back because we are Leicester City. A reasonable length of time in the wilderness is upcoming.

What is astounding to me is that the sheer number of players that we have signed that have either been crap, unused, gone of a free, or all of the above is absolutely indefensible. I can accept a director of football and recruitment team getting a few things wrong but mistake after mistake and the same people are making the bad decisions. Its too costly to ignore and will lead to ruin. The signings in this window again show no clear strategy. How can we expect the manager or players to adapt an identity if those at the top aren't clear on it either.

Id definitely take Smith over any of the other dross we have been linked with, Christ people were touting bloody Gary Rowett! Smith is a good man manager, and also proven at a much higher level than Rowett.
