Thing is we stuck with Coopers back room staff until when was it Jan/Feb brought in Barry Murphy and King. You could say there has been a slight improvement since then overall, more changes player wise. The squad is poor overall. Obviously Southampton were really shit, but there were points during that game we utterly dominated them and played technically good football. It’s difficult these days as people expect instant success which is why adequate succession planning and a competent DOF and strategy is important. Going back 10 years a manager would expect 6 to 9 month before they fully had impact. Look at O’Neill, we were atrocious even in the playoffs really Stoke outplayed us, pretty lucky vs Palace. Only the 2nd season did we begin to see his impact. Constant swapping with no clear direction isn’t gonna help us as we are going back to square one. If Dyche and Martin are the best they can offer clearly showing their scattergun approach with style, then what’s the point?!

I’ve worked for a number of of American companies and they are cunty, cost cutting, debt leverage, very poor investment in equipment, awful treatment of staff. I’m sure there are a few exceptions but they are largely bad. I assume people go to big fast food chains as they have monopolised the markets, they aren’t particularly good, very mediocre lukewarm food on offer at most. Each owner would need to be judged on their own merit of course. Facts remain not many international people on going to be interested in a provincial club in some place in England they’ve never heard of.

These young players are where the choice of manager is absolutely critical. We bring in one of the.names we linked with we waste most of this talent.

The players have to show something too. Like if they pressed hard, ran hard etc fans would get behind that, but its very hard to get behind a team passing it between centre backs, we pretty simple we just want to see some entertainment. In the last 3/4 years there has been very little in the Leicester side the fans can really get behind. Again that falls down to poor decisions at board level mixed with the utter contempt with which KPFC treat the fans.

Effort, commitment, players running, taking people on, shooting, winning the ball, fast breaks, pressing. I think if the players are clearly giving it all on the pitch the fans will back that. Things modern football is lacking quite a bit. The absolute best teams I have seen this season are PSG, Inter and Barcelona none of them are particularly slow passing accross the back snoreball.
