I personally never would have gone to West Brom telling them that Albrighton is going to be their best player. I would put him under the BDCR/Coady bracket, great squad player, great player to have around the team. The fact that Ipswich fans are saying he’ll be our best player due to ability and being direct and can score goals, then that’s what I like about this signing.

I know a few of you have said how other clubs raved about BDCR and Coady etc when we signed them, but they all were saying how they’ll be good squad players, none of them said how they’ll be our best player like Ipswich fans have said under this tweet. Literally judging from their replies, they think we’ve signed the best player in the league.

Think I could’ve told you we were gonna end up with RM a couple years ago mate, it was inevitable. Ings deal being off was just a bit of common sense with how long it took. Will take my hat off for you on Chaplin though.

3 years is fine? A year in league 1. He’s a top level championship player so 1/2 years in there, and if we get up straight away he’s a decent lower table PL player for rotation? I get he’ll be 34/35 at that point but sometimes you need that for the squad as someone on here mentioned with Chelsea and Jordan Henderson earlier.
