I can totally understand peoples annoyance here. They neglect a kid and become media darlings. There's something quite incredibly selfish about the McCanns imo. Love the limelight, however it may come about. Never use the crazy coverage they get to highlight the hundreds of children that go missing every year. I appreciate the hell they must go through everyday but no one's ever gonna know what happened. Enough moneys been thrown at this already. yep

Watched Once Upon a Time in The West the other night. 20th best film ever, according to IMDB. Not for me. Although Claudia Cardinale...oh.my.god. She's up there with Grace Kelly for me.

What are people's verdict on The Bourne Trilogy? I bought all 3, slightly ashamed i'd not seen them, watched the 1st and thought it was fine, but nothing special. Just me? Or are the others better/?

How photoshopped is that?! And is that Chris Brown, Stringer Bell and T.I all in the same movie?!!

sounds bad re: Leon - watched a few months back, still amazing imo. Better than Taxi Driver which I also watched for the 1st time in a while recently. re: The Wire - season 2 was my least favourite too but giving up on it would be the biggest mistake of your life!

i'm a muffin man (savoury) (no jokes), and this doesn't surprise me. Warburton's are average. Waitrose/Sainsburys own are where it's at.

It gets better with each listen too (imo). For the 1st month I had it I thought it was good, 2nd month amazing, 3rd month i'm in love!

pretty much all i've listened to the last 3 months. Put Graduation on yesterday (an album i love) and it's nothing on MBDTF. One of my fave albums ever, it's near perfect imo.

Saw The Shining for the first time last night. Very good although not 10/10 good like i half expected. Also watched Taxi Driver the other night. 3 times i've seen it now and yeah it's good but is it not a wee bit overrated? It's not Goodfellas or Scarface standard (slightly different genre sure).

Got my first teaching job on Monday, starting Sept. Any advice on NQT years/getting 'good' accommodation (whatever that may constitute)/getting prepared for the struggles of the job/moving 300 miles from home, etc, would be greatly appreciated. I know there's a few teachers on here...
