You lot need to calm down. No one dislikes CR or actively wants us to fail. They're objectively saying they think we'll struggle - not surprising given the off season we've had. Let's hope we prove them wrong!

I think people need to realise that actually, these people probably have a more balanced view on this than us. This idea of 'people wanting us to fail' is just nonsense. We've lost our stand out player and a manager that the players clearly loved. They also look at 19 other teams, and don't have blue tinted specs. Whilst they may not know our side inside out like most of us, they'll have a good knowledge of us AND the rest. I hope they're all wrong too but people need to wise up...and stop taking things so personally!

Louise Taylor must have the worst record for predictions ever, including people outside of punditry. Worryingly she's the only one predicting us to stay up!

i'd say that looks fairly predictable bar Swansea. Swap them and Everton and it'd be pretty much spot on for me.

Yes, yes and not seen. I did see The Wire before the other 2 but it's just so real and deep and for me, head and shoulders above any other show. Did you watch all 5 seasons? There are definitely slow parts but even they are absolute genius in the whole scheme of things. It just seems to break every convention of TV shows - there's no 'good guy wins' or everything wrapped up nicely. The characters are so well developed and the casting is the best i've ever known. Then the way it's written and how everything slowly ties into each other...it's just genius!

Re watching The Wire. Amazing. Still 100% the best TV show ever. Miles ahead, in fact.

Been watching this for 10 mins. Standard is laughable. The defenders' assist there... could've let it go out for a goal kick but instead crossed it across his own goalmouth for the opposition player to nod in!

agreed - enjoyed S5 but S4 was so perfect and S5 always felt like it was squeezing everything out of it, even if done very, very well.
