I agree with the sentiment of this and to the fans (or at least the majority of them including me its huge). What i would question though is the assertion that lose this 'and the feeling in the camp will change dramatically'. I really dont think the players, or this set of players, have that 'feeling' in the first place. I really dont believe that so called 'derbies' have the same effect as they used to on players anymore, and I think that stems from the club not really having an identity amymore (at least to the players) and for them its just another game.

I really dont think thats happening from what we've seen so far. Sunderland are making a fair start but I still see the 3 promoted sides coming straight back down. Its just how it is im afraid the the gap between the the Prem and Championship is just too much both in footballing terms and financially.

I think this was just a balancing the books window and we appear to have done that. We needed a striker and we got one and we kept Fatawu which was a must, so overall not an horrendous window. There was never going to be many incomings even loans, but its the hope with all the spurious links that gets you. We carry on with what we have and trust in the young lads to carry us forward.
