Hi all! In September, a group of us will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise awareness about Motor Neurone Disease. It is a truly devastating disease that has sadly taken the lives of two amazing people who were very dear to us. One of them was my Dad, who got me in to football when I was a kid in the 90s. He used to play left back (the position he said no one else wanted to play ) for a local Leicester team called Santos (they all idolised Pele and the Brazil team). Even though he never really fully supported a club, he'd always ask 'How did CITY do?' every weekend (screw you Man City). He was over the moon when we won the league in 2016, and I always wanted to take him to the the KP while he still could. Thankfully, I managed to take him to the City-Leeds league cup game a few years back, and he had a blast. I reckon if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have had such a passion for our awesome team. Randomly, I did a sight test on one of Muzzy’s close mates last week, and he got him on the phone for me! Like an idiot the first thing I say is ‘it’s like talking to my hero’. Muzzy replied with ‘so, er, whereabouts are you based mate?’ 😂 Top man and really down to Earth. Came back in on my day off and he’d passed on a signed photo of him playing in the World Cup semi-final against Brazil. Proper chuffed!

The man is silk. Who’d have thought that a player of his calibre would be playing for us back when Sergio Hellings was making the squad.

We're the only team to have been in the top 4 the whole season. We've won the second most games, got the third best GD, scored the third most goals, and had the third least losses. I need that Champions League football lads and ladies, especially after last season. If we'd been a little lower down the table throughout the season, I think I'd err towards FA Cup. Although I think the way the team is progressing, we'll be in with a shout of both for many seasons to come.

Great work and a great thread @Les-TA-Jon So many twists and turns to come - surprise results, cup competitions, injuries to players of other teams. I genuinely feel that, regardless of opposition, we'll be fine - so long as we don't have any further injuries. I think the lads will be thinking about last year saying 'not this this time'.

The teams put out in both legs were good enough to get a result. We lost because we underestimated them, and they wanted it more - simple as that. Which is a f****** joke. We could have been given another 90 mins to score 3 goals and we’d have done nothing. Let’s hope it helps is for the rest of the season with longer breaks between games.

Oh I totally agree that he has a place in the squad. I wouldn’t want the club to move him on at all. My point is that given the number of games we have, we would need an additional option.

From what BR has said there, I think he’s on his way out. If so, I can see us signing another winger. If Barnes or Ünder get injured then we’re a bit short - unless we change formation. Got a lot of love for Mark Albrighton, but he’s not the answer anymore.
