In the grand scheme of things. Half Time at home against Arsenal with a second string team out and still in the game I think most people will take. -

Nacho is not the man for me. He always looks likes he's going through the motions. Walks side to side. Gray however is looking like he is trying to prove a point -

Nacho should score. He should have took it around the keeper first from that pass from albrighton -

Can see pace being a real issue against us tonight. However it's clear and obvious that we've put this low on our priorities for this season. -
With the amount of games upcoming I think most of the starting XI will be rested bar a CB. I don't know why but I've got a feeling we'll be seeing either Albrighton filling it at RB which could be a potential horror show or a youth player (Daley Campbell will come in). Anyway with some players not having much play time but been on the bench they'll be starting. I'll go with Ward Thomas Soyuncu Morgan/Fuchs Albrighton Hamza Maddison KDH Gray Nacho Under It would be nice for a cup run but with Liverpool potentially in the next round they may just give fringe players game time and not expect to go through

Yet Bamford was excellent today. It's all gone down hill for Leeds when he went off. -

Disgusting that he's England Number 1. He shouldn't be in the England squad at all. Massively overrated but Southgate has him as his favourite. -
Even if he does sign today. No chance he'll play on Sunday. He'll be eased in and get time in the league cup after a few training sessions under his belt.

Mendy has been excellent. Constantly pressing. Tidy on the ball. He's kept that midfield constantly ticking over. -

The concerning thing is we've barely even got into the west brom half in 18 mins. In addition we've barely strung 5 passes together. Concerning. -

Second best to everything so far. -
This would be a good signing if it comes off. Maybe even played at LWB as McNeil does seem versatile. Will also chip in with his fair share of assists as he has good technical ability. My concern is simply we need someone to chip in with 8 -10 goals. We are so heavily reliant on Vardy and I'm not sure if McNeil will be able to be the additional goalscorer we require. Even still it would add options and depth to the squad. Will be interesting to see how this develops over the coming days.

Some rubbish been spouted on here. One minute everyone singing Rudkin's praises for getting 80mill for Maguire, also a big amount for chilwell, yet because we have been slow in the market it's entirely his fault? Come off it. The club probably had targets for both an outcome for Champs League and Europa. We all know the squad needs depth but we will probably need to get some of the deadwood out first. The club will be working hard on getting the best possible targets for decent value that we can potentially sell on for a profit at a later date. I feel the club has learned its lessons from spunking money away on Musa, Slimani, Silva so now try to do things with less risk. This is not about how we can't attract players. It's about the fact we are looking for the best possible value to buy players so we can get the highest resale value later on down the line. We are not able to compete with the Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool that have high quality players littered throughout there first team and squad. Would you rather us be an Everton who have spent the best part of £450mill on players since 2016, with players with little resale value and still find themselves way behind us with no European football? Give the club time, I'm sure a few more signings will be incoming over the next few weeks.

I just can't see this happening. No way we'd stump up £50million that's been reported/asked for. It's just not the way we as a club seem to operate. More than likely we'd get Fofana who's much younger and for potentially half the price with a possible higher resale value down the line.

Surprised to see so many people put Benkovic in their line ups. I would personally like to see him play CB as we can then have Ndidi as the natural CDM but Benkovic has hardly featured at all. All seems rather strange and quiet around him.
-
Kasper Justin Soyuncu Kolo Toure (Ndidi) Castagne Mendy Praet Tielemans Gray Vardy Barnes

Albrighton has been brilliant for this club and always puts a shift in. but if we as a club want to progress to next level we should be striving for more. He would be fine as a squad player and rotating in for cup/lower league games but if he's first choice for this season we really haven't addressed what we needed... A new wide player

I agree. His approach is kick and run and in the premier league you need to be better than that. We need more craft. He started off so well last year and with each passing week is gradually going backwards. We all want him to do well and there is a good player in there. His goals and assists were actually good last year but he could have had so much more.... like Gray they both lack that composure and killer instinct to push themselves to that next level. -
Looks a prospect, Although very suspect in the air. He got beat by the diag ball a lot today. A good loan to a challenging championship team would do him a world of good. The lad needs game time.
