To me you are absolutely spot on. It felt like we were playing 5-2-3 all game. Perez was getting bullied, the midfield was getting overrun and Youri/Mendy could not contain the midfield for 90 mins. Taking Perez off early doors and putting on Choudhury with his combative style could have helped ease the pressure on Mendy and also giving us an extra man in midfield. This would have allowed Youri to go slightly more forward to make the killer pass. Most Managers including Rodgers never seem to make early 1st Half tactical changes if they think the game plan isn't working. The only one I know does it is Mourinho. We move onto the next game.

He's a young lad who was playing league one football not so long ago so will make mistakes. I do think he will get better but then again I think we can massively upgrade him. My concern is how any big or decent centre forward drop straight onto him as they know he's a weak link. However, today it looked like he won a competition to play premier league football.

I said it earlier and I'll say it again. Perez off and an enforcer in Choudhury will help recover this game. It allows Youri to get further forward. We are getting bullied and are not in control of the game at all. We need that extra man in midfield

Why are we surprised we are getting smashed. Our midfield is struggling. We are getting dominated. Perez offering little. We are not stopping the out ball to Antonio. Unless changes in personnel and formation this could be a long afternoon.

We are getting dominated in center mid. Perez drifts into CM but is too light weight and getting bullied. We are struggling to be creative whatsoever. I would consider taking off Perez for Choudhury. It would sure us up in CM. Allow us to dominate the midfield more. And push Tielemans further forward

You must be daft as a brush if you're thinking Maddison is off to United. 1) they don't need him. 2) he signed a new contract literally a few weeks ago. 3) transfer window closes in 24 hours and we have no replacement lined up so would be over £100mill to compensate 4) they won't pay that for Sancho so why would they pay that for Maddison 5) Close Thread.

Brighton really are Pony.

Brighton do try to play the right way. They play through the lines and also want to play out of the back so credit to them. The problem is they always look like they want to score the perfect goal. Yes Maupay goal was scrappy but that was the first time they actually played the ball into the box. Even set pieces they don't ever play the ball into the box. They flatter to deceive and are actually frustrating to watch. They create all there own problems.

Another week. Another shambles that is Jordan Pickford. The fact he's England's number 1 yet continuingly makes mistakes after mistakes yet keeps his England shirt infuriates me. He's absolutely garbage.

Would any of these away trips have any quarantine rules/concerns for our players at all?
