Hampden atmosphere is getting worse game by game. Combination of things, poor performances, the post Euro blues and games taking place midweek and Sunday nights etc. Saturday games are few and far between nowadays, but the atmosphere is completely different at Hampden for those.

Unreal, totally undeserved. Mctominay has flounced around for the last 3 games, Ferguson looks 2 yards off the pace for international football and Christie does nothing defensively or attacking. But somehow we get 3 points..........

He would have got to the Wallace and Greig levels of mediocrity if they gave him the season. Pedro was a basket case. The one that shows how difficult it is to manage in Glasgow was Le Guen. At the time he was the hottest ticket around Europe, but player power got him out.

Please please Rangers make a play for Derek Mcinnes. He's turned them down once already but not sure he'd do it again. The seethe between both clubs irrespective of the outcome would be epic.

Clyde moved out of Broadwood a few years ago and shared Douglas Park. Hamilton have an issue with the owners of their stadium so moved to Broadwood at the start of the season. An absolute basket case of a club atm.

Floodgates officially opened at Pittodrie. Thank the lord we've scored our first league goals of the season. HT, Aberdeen 3 (three) Dundee 0. Parkhead, the natives sound restless.

This is probably our last European venture for a while, so trying to make the most if it. Didn't get Sparta Prague tickets but going anyway. We got a horrendous draw considering some of the teams in the competition, but so be it. Need some wins and goals in the SPL asap or else we are in the market for another manager.

Cba finding the conference league thread. Decent performance against Shaktar and we scored 2 goals........ shame they scored 3. Next up a trip to AEK Athens in 3 weeks, and I've got a ticket 😀.

Celtic beat 2 0 by Braga. Schmeichel's attempt to save the 1st was awful, and possibly one of the worst VAR decisions to rule out an equaliser by Inneacho. Oh well, never mind.

Great result. Looking at the fixtures at the start of the season it was a tough start but they've dug out results.

@Torquay Gunner that side is a tough watch compared to a few seasons ago. On the plus side, Saka has come back looking on decent form.

He's lost the majority of the fans. Motherwell and Shacktar next 2 games, not sure he see's them. Conferance league away tickets go on sale tomorrow, we have really poor allocations for Athens, Larnaca and Prague, so fair chance I'll be travelling without any tickets.

That's my fault, turned on the Lincoln game to laugh at Chelsea. 2 quick goals later and Im back to Bake off.

@Miquel The Work Geordie @Out Foxed Thanks for your London recommendations but as per usual the plans go out the window after a few beers. Started with a few Guiness in Worlds End Camden. Made our way to Euston and had a few in the George while watching Leicester Cov, then while they checked into the hotel I got the barman to put Aberdeen Motherwell on in the Rocket and tried their in house IPA. Took the tube to Borough Market and had a Jubel in the Southwark Tavern, then a few more in the Old Thameside and another in the Mudlark followed by a couple in the Shipwrights Arms. All very touristy. Got the 8pm train back to Loughborough. Weather was great, London was busy, had a good day out.

Totally unrelated to the rugby, but how different does Ashton Gate look when the tv camera's are lower down in the stand? The Bristol City games look like televised from Mars compared to the rugby.

Is the substitution of Yoro for Maguire not evidence that Amorin doesn't know what he is doing. Unless your centre half is injured or having a shocker, surely you don't take him off. Mbeumo will keep them up.....

Can't see him lasting the weekend. Loud and clear from his own fans 2 mins from the end "your getting sacked in the morning" It would be funny if it wasn't for us anchored at the bottom of the table with no goals in the league after 4 games.

Only saw the 2nd half. What a performance, and to be honest there were players on that team I've never heard of before. To my untrained eye, the Southern hemisphere teams seem have an extra physicality and skill level at the moment. Maybe I'm just a bit disappointed in the Lions performances in the summer.

Brother and his mates are getting the 11pm sleeper from Aberdeen to London next Friday night and arrive 8am Saturday. I'm meeting them midday and thinking about Islington Flight club in the afternoon followed by an old fashioned pub crawl. Any recommendations for decent boozers round Islington? Age range 45 to 55. Also near Euston if possible? Cheers
